Pity them. They wudnt know the sweetness of having suggies as companion. They must regard them as tupai like us here. Just pests that eat all the fruits we grow.

hahaha...at my current home, there is this one tupai...damn fast one...
always come into the house to curik makan the fruits that we put on the kitchen counter.
very cute. my housemate 1st thought it was my joeys, but it was big compared to them.
anyways, it has become part of our household also la....always come in our house, but very shy shy one with us....
When hear or see us coming, it will climb out the window.

There's alot of them here in UTM.
U know,the whole forest is here.
Definitely can see a lot of different types of animals here.
Sadly,most of the time i see the squirrels being squashed by cars.

But now the female is tending the joeys so she's a bit crabbier lately.

She's kinda restless. She wants to be active, climb here, jump there, but i guess her leg is still not as strong. But she's moving around. N i also dun want her to over'exercise' her leg yet. Just want it to be able to recover properly 1st. I'll post pictures when i get hold of a camera.

My benben very smelly today. Long time didn't play water gua

hi all... have a problem with my joey...

i tried bonding with her in my washroom..
which is an enclosed space with nothing in it...

i put her there and went to a smoke...
when i return, of course, in a new surrounding, she is cranky...
when i went inside, my joey actually charge towards me..

is this normal, she has crab at me before but neer charge...
this time, looks like she is real pissed...

If she is not fully bonded with you, or if she's really scared or feel threaten, i think it wud charge. N mite want to grab n bite u as well.
Just try to calm her down and stroke her, n cuddle her until she's settled down. Play more with her.

i tried playing with her every night...
at least, be there and spend time with her...

but after 1/2 hr, she would want to go and sleep already...
anyway, i also feel threaten and scared now...
and i definitely can't charge at her...

u shudnt let the crabbing n charging n biting gets to u. u shud let her charge or even bite u. just to prove u meant no harm to her. that's how u can gain her trust n showing her that she cant always gets her way by biting.

Do u bond with her in the morning when she sleeps?
Bonding during the day is important as well.
They'll get used to ur smell and won't be so scared of u when they see u at night.
I carry them everyday,at least a few hours in the day.

If they lunge at u,means it's scared.
Lunging hoping that will scare u n u won't go near her.
U must let her bite or lunge at u.
If u retreat,she will learn that lunging will make u go away.
That way,she's training u.
It should be the other way round.

Dun worry,it takes time to bond with ur glider.
It's normal for them to bite n crab at first.
Just be patient n in time,she'll learn to trust u

yeah i did, she is with me all the time except when im sleeping...

oh man... now i got to let her bite me...
how i wish i did not put her in the washrooom....lol... but i'll overcome the fear..

Dun worry, joey's bites dun hurt that much. I think. At least mine, their bites never draw blood. Tho sumtimes can see the marks, but only to that extend. And that happened when i handfeed them when the fruits are all gone.
Dun worry, ur hardwork wud paid off once she's bonded to u.

Do u put ur smelly clothes over her cage?
Play with her more often,let her crawl on u.
Let her sleep in ur hand.
That way she'll learn to recognise ur smell n will trust u more.
