can we set a price alert in hlebroking platform? for eg, when our low/high target price is reached, the platform will send a sms/email to the user?

As I know, iPhone version, nop. Previously, in desktop version, there is but they have disable it. Not sure when will enable it back.

If you are using desktop, you may try JStock (http://jstock.sourceforge.net/), it can alert sound, email or sms.

Yes, so far it is. Although the price is delay, it still good to alert me to buy or sell instead of sit in-front of the monitor just to monitor the price.

er...You open your account at Hong Leong Investment? If yes, then you can login from hlebroking.com.my.

The one from Hong Leong bank (hlb.com.my) site is the nominee account from Hong Leong bank. It only can run from there if you are open from Hong Leong bank (if I remember correctly smile.gif )

From hlebroking, withdrawal tab -> cash.
If you withdraw now most likely you get it next working day (Monday).

What do u guys think of HLeB vs CIMB iTrade? Which one is better in terms of the 'friendliness' of their trading platforms and fees associated with trading?

For me I will always have the tendency to choose Excelforce platform over any other platform because this is the first platform that I am exposed to. However, I think CIMB's platform is more advanced in a way that they have more features than Excelforce such as alarms, sms reminders as well as charting features. smile.gif

Fees are cheaper with CIMB as well. As far as user friendliness are concerned, I think it is up to the broker you are engaging the broking services with.

I like RHBInvest platform. But quite confusing to key in order. I just like their charts and those extra info. Excelforce platform is much simpler in term of keying order.
