If compared between Hlebroking and ecm libra while using iphone, which is better? I'm looking forward to open one that can trade with iphone. CIMB lots of negative feedback.

the brokerage rate for cash upfront acc is 0.1%, minimum RM8 while collateralised acc is 0.8% minimum RM12. (if my memory doesn't fail me)

For this HEeBroking website, is there any timeout pop up screen if I were to view the real time stock price without clicking on any of the links?

Example: in Maybank2u online stock trading, it will pop up a window whether I want to continue after few minutes of no activity. if i dont click on it then it will auto logoff for me. So annoying.

No, you can open at 8am and no time out notification until 5pm also can.
During the time you can participate in buying and selling of securities.

However, from time to time you will need to login to view your portfolio again if you have been idle for too long.

That's what I meant. How long before I am required to login again if I left the browser idle?

You can remain logged in forever until you logout.
During the time you can participate in the buying and selling of shares too.

The thing is only when you want to withdraw or view your portfolio, you need to login after idling for 3 hours or more. I think they have done it for security reason.

No, you can't.
It requires IE in order for it to work since you need to install ActiveX for it to function.

Brokerage charges depend on your account type. There are two types; cash upfront account and cash collateral account. For cash account it is 0.1% of your trade amount. For collateral account is 0.38%, 0.1% intraday trade.

Which means, I'm using cash account now...they are charging me minimum RM12 or 0.1% of the trade amount, subject to whichever is higher? It is per transaction...?

Cash account is RM 8 or 0.1% of trade amount whichever is higher. They will total up your total purchases or sales in one day and then only apply the brokerage rate. smile.gif

If not wrong, CIMB may roll out 0.1% cash upfront with 10X trading limit launching next month if nothing goes wrong. Those who were interested can pm me.
