well.. for dsl, for pure bridge mode, one has to connect using pppoe dialler in os. or a router can dial to pppoe.

so, if that wimax bridge is just a modem, you will need a dialler apps in pc. or another router

but if it autoconnect without you doing anything, most probably it is also a router. have you tried connecting pcs directly and check the gateway ip?

well i have try to check the gateway ip n also try to access to the setting too but too bad p1 doesn't include those username n password for us... so i think i can do nothing at all... n beside that the promoter told me i need to get a router if i wan multiple networking... and also yeapp the modem will connect itself once i turn it on... all i need to do is just plug in my network cable...

ok. maybe this explains why you get NAT3.

if my conjecture is right, you can use the wimax modem's ip as gateway ip in ip settings for all your devices in the network. and then, connect the wimax modem to the lan port (not wan port) of the router (not wimax modem). i dont know if your router supports this or not, but some routers can act as network switch. so all NAT can be skipped. it may be a bit tricky for wireless dhcp though. because it will use the router's ip as gateway, resulting in NAT3. but you can try to set it manually.

haha thx sweety u gave me gud explaination... well actually i still haven't get any router yet.. coz im afraid it might not be compatible to connect to ps3... so what im trying to ask in the first place is what kind of router that will suits the ps3... n vorchiel really thx a lot... mayb i will ask u for setting manually for the router in future...

there is way to try though. if you get NAT3 when connecting it direct to ps3 using ethernet cable, then i think that nothing can be done to change that

well at this moment i was connecting it using directly from modem through network cable... is it there is nothing much i can do??

well its okay coz p1 giving me 15 days trial i can cancel the use of it also im getting coz i thought the speed will be better than other so trying it out... lucky u giving me this kind of info... if not i will be a fool
