I'm using. Currently p1 only give NAT3 connection even u plug in the modem direct into ps3. 

ok so does it have it;s own dhcp server or wifi access point? most probably it is also a router right? not just a bridge. you can still use it without any additional router.

is that right?

ok. maybe this explains why you get NAT3.

if my conjecture is right, you can use the wimax modem's ip as gateway ip in ip settings for all your devices in the network. and then, connect the wimax modem to the lan port (not wan port) of the router (not wimax modem). i dont know if your router supports this or not, but some routers can act as network switch. so all NAT can be skipped.  it may be a bit tricky for wireless dhcp though. because it will use the router's ip as gateway, resulting in NAT3. but you can try to set it manually.

oh... if like that.. then it is the limitation at isp level

Ic... look like that impossible to get NAT1 or 2  for P1 WImax user.

Added on February 10, 2009, 10:06 amI can get Nat1 with this 2 setup easily, Linksys AM300(Bridge mode)+Linksys WRT54G2(Bridge mode).

It getting smoother than when i get NAT2. With NAT1, u no need to wait for the network checking time.
