eh need some tips to oc my amd and ram...
using 4200+ and crucial pc6400..i pump the vcore until 1.376V..and set the proc speed at 11X223=2453MHz..ram speed 408MHz..
after that, i tried 11x230 but it cant boot..how? noob oc here..

edited: do i need to pump vcore higher?

did u use lower ram divider and lower HT??

wan to know urs 4200 is windsor F2 or birsbane G1 core
try without increase the vcore 1st ..check out hw high can go
my 4200 f2 can go 2662 all stock voltage and wit CnQ on

as my proc hit the wall edi ... i wonder what if i enable e&q .. does it downclock my proc to stock when i'm gaming or it increase it to 2.92ghz ??

I dont think AMD C n Q will work properly with your overclocked proc as you have raised the voltages, while C n Q operates with stock voltages. Use crystal cpu ID. With it you can set the proc to operate at lowest possible voltage n multiplier at idle to save on electricity and heat and set it to your required oc levels for gaming and other stuff. It works to adjust the settings automatically just like C n Q

everything looks ok..what may slack a bit here is ur vdimm..what vdimm do u use?

try reduce HT multiplier first....btw,it's hard to find 'org sarikei' here

windows 2003 > windows XP > windows vista
vista definitely not suitable for Pi benching
windows 2003 is around 0.3s faster than windows xp when full tweaked.
safe mode is not a proper way to reduce the starup load.
you'll get something wrong with cpu-z
try this

open 'run' > type 'msconfig' > in general tab, tick diagnostic setup > click ok, restart

depend ....my dont hv any probelm with it

all hv to know is ur cpu stock vcore from hw much to how much
like my f2 stock vcore is from 1.2 to 1.35
so i can enable CnQ at 2.86g Vcore 1.30 without any problem

btw, system tested for 12mins...hopefully after 2hours, everything going well...

Run 2.1v lor.. Won't burn...

so ur vdimm will stay at 1.8v default..now go to ur bios and find vdimm(ddr2 voltage)..increase it to 2.0 or 2.1...

when u reduce cpu multiplier, the speed will decrease,and less vdimm and vcore needed..thats why it is stable..
change back to 11x,and increase the vdimm ONLY.

but the system now tested for 30mins le..stop it then go bios again?
after change vdimm to 2.0v, then how about the proc speed? 11x230=2530Mhz?
or can do higher? ..
