weong weong??? Your CPU fan pusing fast lar si it?? laugh.gif
Or there's lalat camping inside hmm.gif laugh.gif

Don't worry, try up it to 1.4V and monitor the temp...
if not above 60, you can try up to 1.45V and that's the maximum... but you got good cooler shouldn't be a problem if + the vcore more than 1.45V wink.gif
*
haha .. lalat no but lot of cable, yes laugh.gif

i'm pushing my vcore rite now ... but there seems to be a problem ... its doesnt stay put

i mean .. in a second, it changed from 1.34 (current) to 1.31 and then upped again to 1.33 .. is this normal ??

QUOTE(Amedion @ Feb 19 2008, 12:05 PM)
Not all can go 4Ghz..

But if compare price between BE 5000+ vs E2160.. I'm in doubt.. Muahaha..
Now stressing my brisby at 2950Mhz.. NO error for 2 hours 15 minutes already... Load 54c~56c..

Based on my n00b experience ..
Processor clock too high = system freeze
GFX clock too high = artifacts all over the screen n system freeze
Ram clock too high = system restarts

Mobo HTT too high = Fail in ORthos?  laugh.gif
*
waa ... on the same route as me smile.gif

currently stressing at 2.945 ... crossing fingers

bout that n00b exp, i second that conclusion nod.gif

Try different multiplier.. My no-fail in Orthos setting :-

x10.5 = 2945Mhz
x10 = 3003MHz
x9 = 2835Mhz
*
rite now my no fail in orthos is somewhat shakehead.gif

x10.5 = 2750Mhz (260HTT)
x10 = 2850Mhz (285HTT)
x9.5 = 2945Mhz (310HTT)

i'm starting to think, this is it sad.gif

nope ... doing this will make biostar setting all those timing into tight one

still bootable but will reset HTT to 200

QUOTE(za_az @ Feb 20 2008, 10:36 AM)
@cracksys, theres other more option.. Have u try to loosen your trfc?
*
more extreme outcome .. cannot boot at all

need to reset bios sumore sweat.gif
------------------------------------------

i wanted to go more but maybe its my ram thats holding me back ... sad.gif

or maybe its my bios version ... (updated one, flashed by previous owner) rclxub.gif

Speaking of power consumption with overclocks, do any of you here use crystal cpuID's multiplier management setting? I'm using it with my rig and I think its better than C n Q as it allows you to customize your voltage(for sad ppl like me without F3's icon_rolleyes.gif )

Heres how I got mine setup

Full load: 3.0ghz @1.52V rclxub.gif
Middle: 2.2ghz @1.2V
Idle: 1.3ghz @ 1.0V icon_rolleyes.gif

Each state is fully stable by itself and the system is also fully stable while running like this. I think its much better than the actual C n Q as that does not allow you to change volts biggrin.gif
*
sue them if it burnt flex.gif (i know, they said not responsible in their t&a odi)

hahaha ... so, i came and i ask question, as usual ... if i enable C&Q, what will be my maximum clock ?? is it the one set for the proc (2100mhz for X2 4000+) or the overclocked clock (2+++mhz)
================================================

i heed for ah_khoo advice (sifu notworthy.gif ) and yes, my ram problem is connected to the most recent bios update .. so i tried 0605 like what had been advised but i didnt like the fact that there is no 1/2 multiplier...

any suggestion what is the stable-lest bios for biostar ta690g ?? icon_rolleyes.gif

i dont think you need that kind of vcore to get 2.9++ .. but with that kind of cooler, i assume you dont care tongue.gif
