really? but how come so many indians doing that?

OH YEA, if you want to be a TAXI DRIVER too!! so many indians doing... and they actually making quite a bit...

but then again, dont plan to earn your tuition fees OR even daily expenses here... pretty hard though... unless you are really good and lucky and hard working and PRETTY!! HAHHAHAHAHA... my friend could work like a super girl, and she is pretty and hardworking... she used to work everyday... and in those restaurants where they pay 20bucks per hour + 100bucks tips a day... so... it depends AGAIN... normal people CANT do that!!
*
i think that's because they outsource those things like in those customer services thingies, *cough* optus*cough* they don't really mind since they get cheap labour. PS: LOL, they put on fake american accents. i dunno, i've never ever had an indian telemarketer call me up before.

I know for Roy Morgan you gotta have a minimum band of 8.8 for IELTS (academic) and min. band for 8.8 for the speaking task.. is that high? I HAVE NOOO IDEA. Ps, Roy Morgan isn't a telemarketing thing, its for market research.

I included the IELTS thing cuz most of u guys are international students yea?

Wow... wonder what restraurants she work.. 100 bucks tips per days...

But then... earn tuition fees is abit hard.
but for daily expenses is possible, depend on how you Spence your $$$.
My parents doesn't support me any expenses here, coz i am enough for my own salary here.
Even i work 16 hours also enough.
BTW, depend on how you use your money.

P/S for Ladies/Girl/Women : If you got love having some job with old retired people, you can try to apply for working as a "Sister" than take care those old people(dun worry they got no problem, just they too boring, need some one to chit chat). About $30~$50 per hours. not much people can work long for this job.

i doubt so. And depends on what degree you take. The main intake is on Feb. that is when all the 1st year(local students) start their degree.
So i doubt it would be equal.
If you do engineering you would be greatly disadvantage UNLESS a lot of students taking the subjects/electives course.

The contrary is true. Credit cards are not privileged items, unlike the way we see tend to see them in Malaysia. Over here, using a credit card means you are most likely in debt hence it is not a good sign.

Or do yourself a favor, and get yourself a Visa debit card. Most banks should offer something like that (off the top of my head I can think of ANZ and their crazy $5 "monthly charge"). Same thing as a credit card, only near impossible to get into debt.

Because resources wise, main intake is on Feb. Ask yourself this, would you prefer to be in the main intake or the latter intake?
Unless you have enough students(not always the case) to teach those subjects then you should be fine and yeah if the uni approved the course.
That is why they have disclaimer that some subjects will not be available for students enrolling in second sem, especially engineering students.
It's EFTPOS btw, which is seriously cool here and a very convenient way of paying bills.
i prefer debit card although mines is a tad ugly design but hey at least it served its purposes. probably i have to change it if Westpac merge with St. George's Bank.

Yup guys last paper today and i be partying late nite after exam!
yipee can't wait to be back home.

hmmm... i have both my debit and credit with HSBC... no monthly fees!! and you get 5 free withdrawals from other ATMS per month... high interest rate...

actually credit card serves the same purpose too and perhaps they sometimes come in better deals that debit cards dont... you will be fine just that you need some SELF CONTROL, pay in full every month...

BABIIX, so you... citizen? not from malaysia eh?

I guess u should explain to the unit adviser and they willing to help you.
Not sure about others, for mine, 1 years = 2 sems = 8 Units.
Yes.. if you got too much time.. you can take 2 unit per sems or 1 unit per sems if you like.
If you got 6 left, take 3 : 3 for a years  tongue.gif
*
for my last year...
i cant take 4 units in 1 sem cause some of units need prerequisite unit...
so i have to make it to two units persemester....
2:2 in one year
haizzz...
forced to study 1 more year....
but what im worried is....
i dont want to take additional units cause the fees are so bloody pricey la!!!!

You have to be a student to qualify for the 'no fees'. Once you cease being a full time student, you are charged approximately $5/month, and this is the case regardless of your citizenship.
