i'm a little worried now ...  i'm having quite a hard time adjusting my grip on the bow.... how long did u guys take to perfect this?
and i tried to play some fingering and i feel my fingers so stiff like cannot hold down the string properly    maybe too old liao fingers stiff liao?

It'll take quite some time for your finger to get used to playing instruments. Just like the very first time you hold a playstation joypad and trying to perform some moves in games. How long it'll take is individual dependent, just be patient, and practice is the only way to overcome the problem.
