I guess i can only give u rough estimation as different contractor have diff price. Range from low to high

1. Paintjob - living and dining hall, 2 bedrooms - 4,000 - 5,000 ( Skim Coat + 3 layer paint )
2. Hacking old tiles - 1,500 to 2,500 include disposing waste of site
3. laying new tiles for 2 bathroom floor and wall ( 8 feet x 4 feet bathroom size each) - Laying Tiles include material and cement rendering 10.50 - 12.50 per SF + Water Proofing 1,200 - 1,500 for both bathroom
3. Removal of old built in wardrobes ( 2 feet by 8 feet wardrobe, 2 feet by 4 feet cabinet ) include in the cost for hacking tiles out
4. Replacing 6 doors - depends of door material

Hi,

I want cement out my grass land, size is about 8 x 13 ft, with metal mesh.
Change my 2 sliding door panel (grill removing) and hacking wall to fit in 4 panel aluminium w/o coating window (tall type, 5ft type).
Cover the under stair case space, 10ft long + single door. no paint.
Hack the main door frame to make it larger and put in single + small panel type.
Skim or cement out or redo the wall fence between neighbour. Current wall looks like many hair crack.
Repaint the outside house.

How much to pay car porch with those standard heavy duty tiles? (20 x 16)

Thank you

Dear all

I am planning to reno for my small 1100 sq ft apartment as well (old building). Would appreciate some estimated costing from fellow sifus here and recommend a good, reliable contractor as well.

1) 2 bathrooms - re-plumbing, remove old tiles and install new tiles, replace wc & basin, install 2 water heaters.
2) 3 bedrooms - remove parquets and replace with tiles. Install 3 ceiling fans. Master bedroom - install built-in wardrobe
3) Kitchen - remove existing kitchen cabinet, sink & tiles and replace with new ones.
4) Living room polish floor (i think it's terrazo), install ac.
5) Replace all doors (1x main door, 3 x bedroom & 2 bathroom)

Whole house - repainting, re-wiring, install lights, & do cornice--in living room and optional in 3 bedrooms (not plaster ceiling)

Optional - replace windows and glass sliding door as well.

Can fellow sifus kindly quote estimated cost for these works as I have pretty tight budget to work with.

Thank you so very much!

Than reduce what you need to do....
I will suggest you reconsidere "and i need to extant my living room as well, 24' x 2'."....
than will only extend of behind, should able to cover it...but you need to check few more contractors...I have 4 contractos in my list and only 2 between 50-60K (exclude title).

Dear sifus / seniors,

Need your advice on the rough cost estimation if I'm planning to do some renovations.

1) Plaster ceiling
2) 2X2 tiles for the living hall (approx 350sqft)
3) Tiles for bathroom and toilet (those dark coloured tiles- rough surface)
4) Some lighting change for living hall

Hope that some of you can help advice.

Thanks.

Hi,

I almost getting my keys now..wanna ask something.

My house have 3 rooms and two bath rooms. Size is 1200 range sqrft.

Any idea what's the price can cost to do painting? the paint, I will buy myself.

They are charging for 2.6k with the paint (ICI brand). Don't know is that standard.

Another thing is I would need a sliding door between my wet and dry kitchen. The measurement is 2m horrizontally. Any idea how much this would cost??
