actually, those hot packs are intended to treat rheumatism/muscle spasm.  hmm.. i don't think any petshops sell them.

HOT PACK

Nice pics Miss Camillenoir. Do the 2 headed ones stand any chance of surviving till adulthood?

chances are about as much as any siamese twins surviving to adulthood without going under the scissors. slim. i mean, gisele slim. slimmer than my chances of hooking up with bar refaeli.. (things about erratic cell development, coordination, etc etc go google smile.gif)

but then again...

most petshops won't bother stocking up on them because they're too pricey for the average turtle keeper and serious keepers usually order straight from importer/supplier. the albino res in jalan pasar lasted about a year on display the last time i check.

anyway, you could always ask the sellers to stock for you. retail price should be between 1.2k-1.5k, more or less for one head.

yo cam nice stuff there....got two more you havent show ler. hehe. come come show me...hehehe...all of us want to see the black black thing with spot. hehe

As for the price of Albino RES: once i saw on adpost was nearly 2k. so i think the price should be plus minus from there. If the importer or seller just take on purposely for you...then the chances of you paying more is there. unless is ready stock then you might get a bargain at it.

Sth to ask,

Do u guys turn on any light during night time? As i found that without the light its hard to maintain the humidity, esp at night it can goes up to 70% + when the light is not on.

My " basking " light ( spot light of 60 W ) is on 24/7 for some of my tortoise ie Sulcata , Leopard , pancake ...etc drier sp

There are specific product ie night glow , heat bulb ...etc that do not emit or very little light produced while keeping the enclosure's humidity down and Temp constant !! ( I cant be bothered ) as my animals will go into their hide to sleep so the light will not disturb their sleep
