White thingy in her urine/shit - white poo

Means the calcium supplement too much or not absorbed by the body. Why ? Read below.

Not enuf of sun - no uva/uvb for them

They need sunlight/basking because they are cold blooded and need outside source of heat to regulate their body temp. They also need sunlight to synthesis vitamin d in their food/supplement. Heat also helps them digest the food better and be active(You can notice the differences a lot). If you dont have time to bask them under sunlight you can opt to use the UVB bulb + basking lamp combo for it.

Tomato with with caixin

Tomato is a bad food for st, period. Not sure what is caixin. You should feed your st with mustard greed (sawi) daily as it contains a lot of fiber and very good for your star too.

Runny nose

Runny nose or RNS (Runny Nose Syndrome) is the most common problem with st, which reflects your bad husbandry. smile.gif If you need any help on this please give us a pic of your setup so that we can comment more.

One of my Leo got RNS ago, sigh, i wonder whether it's gona heal by itself? Or do i need to increase the duration of basking? It seems to have decreased activity n appetite.

I have read that worm infestation may also cause symptoms similar to RNS, any deworiming product available for the tortoise? Or any Vet that treat RNS ?

Btw, where can i get cuttlebone? Take from cuttlefish?

blink.gif Is that an enclosure? I thought it was a big clay pot or something. Cleaning the algae off the back of your RES must be such a hassle.

That's the whole point. It's very easy for algae to grow on a Res's back and that enclosure has so much algae. The algae on his RES's backs must be overgrowing!
