Yalor... I think March onwards harder to buy tortoise liao

If enforcer caught someone and slam him with big summon... that will cause chain effect and all other traders will be scared to sell

I hope there is way to let us apply for license soon. At least that will not make our tortoises illegal immigrant. hehe

i got a message today that M. Auliya just launched a new book, something like identification guide to the tortoise and freshwater turtles of brunei, indonesia, malaysia, papua, philippines, singapore and timor leste. the book is to be used with the new law, so now you can expect wildlife officers to be more knowledgeable, to a certain limited extent.

license? that would be impossible to obtain unless your animals have all the legal documentations. you can try to apply and get your animals confiscated.

FYI, radiated is in CITES 1 so no license could be rightfully issued

turtles do need more maintanence compared to tortoises... actually, it's easy... just change the water when u see they are dirty and that will do just fine...

the bigger they are... they bigger they poo lor... tat's why bigger turtles are more dirty...

Curious about which 12 species you are keeping ? Do you mind telling us ?
How big enclosure you giving them or you mixing certain species in one ?

Thanks in advance

Unless that Radiated are either CB fom parents with CITES paper or imported as CB with CITES paper ( legal way ) !!!

How I wish I was born pre-CITES period or befoe Malaysia signed as a CITES member .Then I can legalised all my CITES listed animals once Malaysia sign in as a member !!!

Many of our crocodiles and Arowana breeder / farm are form this way beside buying pogeny from existing farms who own them !!!
