hmmm...basking lamp ? You mean the lamp that I use has no effect on calcium absorption ? It does provide some UV light needed by the stars right ?

Yes in Malacca also hard to find. The aquarium dealer said that they placed orders but so far the supplier have not come back to them. Think their price going to go up again.

wow everyone is sapu star tortoise now lol...
anyway, today i went to 88 Pets Mart and saw only left 2 more than 3 inches star at upstairs and 2 smaller one at counter there, one of the 3 inches has sticker on it so i assume that it's reserved already. other than that i saw 2 russian tortoise and another 2 dunno what spider tortoise upstairs, and also 2 pig nose turtle at counter there. btw may i know in Ikano still got star or not? last time i went there around 2-3 months ago there got quite a lot of stars. i just came back from ikano yesterday... i mean today... errr... it's yesterday as it's over 12am d now... hahaaa!
well... got an adult alligator snapper... 2 hatchling common snapper... a few leopard tortoises... 2 big head turtles... and NO star tortoises!! isK!!  now... where can i find any of it? wah... it's being grab up or being hidden up? hmm... |

Like I said right now hard to find. Most of the places i went to sold out already. The store i bought mine left the last 2 both 3.5 inch at RM 100. Store owner also don't entertain bargaining cause he say now hard to find. The other place is the aquarium near Bukit Baru traffic junction.
