you should try the lighter one first,its also can be heavy if u pit flash later,40D is more heavier,when you outing,it a bit tired,even for small DSLR...I suggest wait for 450D,getting excited already...

I think most major camera shops in KL carries sigma lens. Just go out and do some window shopping.

Yes, all EF mount lens manufactured by sigma can be used by either the 450D or 40D. Well, whether to get the 450D or 40D depends on your budget and usage. If you ever get the 40D, I think that cam can last you for a very long time before you start thinking of an upgrade.

40D last longer.. n beside that.. 40D is in higher class then the 450D..
at ISO 1600, 40D produce less noise then 450D..

well.. for portrait, i heard the 50mm prime lens is very good..
cheap also woo...
but alot other superb lense to do portrait also..
such as : Canon EF 85mm f/1.2 L II USM Lens

i think Canon EF 85mm f/1.2 L II USM Lens is expensive?
gotta do alot of survey, dunwana regret to buy anything nowaday

Not forgetting the Legendary Canon 200mm f1.8 L lens.

450D is already out at the market.. A big shop at Sg.Wang Plaza (1st floor) got sell edi.. I tried it out yesterday.. not bad.. much much more lighter then 400D and the kit lens comes with IS... zzzzz wish my 400D come with that.. boiiing boiiiing... hahhahah get the hint

How much is the price for 450D which u saw in Sg.Wang Plaza? Any free gift?

If im not mistaken, the 85mm f/1.2 L cost Rm5k++.. That lens is a piece of gem.. If you've limited budget, consider the 85mm f/1.8 cost around RM1.3k bokeh is wonderful too.
