this model didn't compete with A200, it will compete with D80/D80 replacement and A300/A500.

I place my bet this model gonna be screwed by D80 replacement for sure..just wait and see...

Well, I doubt other brand's same range DSLR that can go ISO3200 can beat Canon's 450D's ISO1600.
Canon is among the best in noise controlling.

i'm sure D80 replacement able to do that. the D80 isn't lose much compare to 400d at iso1600.

if D80 replacement is what ppl expected using CMOS sensor, i bet it gonna able to compete with canon.

and nikon is well known to screw canon in term of specs whenever Canon launch their new model 1st

By the way, seems like the option for ISO 3200 exist in Sony A200 but missing in Pentax K200D and Canon 450D.
Is Sony a better option in low light photography?

liveview, bigger VF, better AF . Pretty soon I can throw away my compacts and get more lenses instead .

No doubt the D80 replacement will definitely be more expensive than the 450D.

Yea, it might be more expensive than 40D too, considering D80's(Entry Level DSLR) price is around Canon 30D's(Intermediate Level DSLR).
