From what I have seen, 400D ISO control is so much better than D60. This will help in lowlight photography.

if between canon 400D and D60, i will take 400D,
because d60 is not a entry level camera like d40, it should have the focusing motor, but too bad it doesn't.. but, if given the same range of budget, i will either choose sony a200, or save a bit more, and get the d80. |

QUOTE(calvin_gsc @ Mar 20 2008, 07:45 PM) From what I have seen, 400D ISO control is so much better than D60. This will help in lowlight photography. How can you compare a CMOS camera to CCD... Sure win kao kao la...Beside that, 400D do not have lenses compatibility issue. So it mean all lenses can be used... compare to D60 you know la.. Lucky recently Sigma just launch the 50 f1.4, which some of my friends now already eyeing for that... |

Just molest both of them. 400D might be better but the viewfinder is a pain for me. The rubber usually came off and the lcd usually dirtied by sweats. I found D60 is much more comfortable to shoot with. In the end it's up to you bro.

Get the canon 5D (no regret later, pain 1 time) or the D300.

If you are planning to get Nikon D80, do consider Canon 30D as well.
