Im just considering between two type of canned food..i think u all might notice that, there are canned food that looks like a gravy, brown in colour mostly if u ever try SP or whiskas and the other is Fancy feast, looks like an original fish that has been cut into tiny pieces, sometimes served like a jelly..so..which one is better..and my cat really,really love canned food compare to his tuna flavoured biscuit..btw, do u feed ur cat with a snack treat i.e similar like the stick one.. and hey, if u are using kitter litter,which type of sand do u used?i like the small like pebbles..which not a pure sand..coz its so dusty..now they have the crystal based like sand.. i really dun like much if litter or sand being tracked inside my the house..want to try the biodegradable litter..is it the same..

If you asking about SP, Whiskas and Fancy Feast, for me, i will get SP and boiled chicken or beef.

If you asking about types of litter, i will go to OKO PLUS pine wood base.

This only happens if i have 1-3 cats

Since i have many cats, i will only give Canned food or boiled chicken or beef 3 times a week. Monday - Wednesday - and Friday. As for litter, im currently using KATTY clay sand with good smell for 4 litter boxes

If you do not like litter track in your house, try Crystal type of litter.

Whiskas got some nice cheap wet food. But I feed RC dry food now (last time I feed Regal and the pet shop no longer sell it coz its not popular) but i know that frieskies makes your cat poopoo and peepee smelly! and I don't like frieskies smells too.

if from shop blackwood will be expensive. and they sell in small small pack. the one that i get from bulk purchase is, the one they order direct from the factory. so when they buy in bulk like 200kg they get special price.

if you do not want to join the bulk purchase, you can go for IAMS or PROFORMANCE = for sure they are much cheaper than blackwood retail price.

actually i just calculated. 10kg of whiskas cost me RM90

so if i buy the blackwood in bulk as you said it would be cheaper for at least.. 2dolars. hahaha

but I'm afraid that my cat never eat such food before. Will he get diarrhoe or stomach ache? @.@

I remember theres once i tried feeding him with smartheart or something and he got diarrhoe...

p/s: If i wish to buy in bulk i just have to leave my name in that forum?

see the bad food cost RM90 for 10kg, while u can get good food for RM88 10KG (Blackwood), or RM98 10kg (for Proformance) or RM115 9.36KG (for IAMS).

Whenever you change food for sure kena diarrhea and upset stomach. That is the reason why, when you see all food pack, they will teach you how to change the food. Mix both, then slowly decrease the old food, and lastly it will become 100% new food. if you change 100% straight away, for sure the stomach get culture shock.

IAMS and PROFORMANCE is a cat food too. IAMS can easily get at any petshop. While PROFORMANCE alil bit hard to get - i found this at one of the vet in taman segar cheras, vet in bangi, and petshop in putrajaya.

A sudden change in food sure will get diarrhea...
try like this if you wanna switch from Brand A food to Brand B food

Day 1: 20% Brand B, 80% Brand A
Day 2: 50% Brand B, 50% Brand A
Day 2: 80% Brand B, 20% Brand A

by day 3, you should have no problem feeding your kitty all brand B food...
That way, you won't upset the kitty's stomach too hard...

I just bought Machiko (Oceon Fish Flavour) for my cats last week. It smells like Blackwood. I bought it at RM65 for 10kg. Anybody know this brand? One of my cats botak at the neck, the fur start to grow back. Izit good sign? I also feed fresh fish (ikan temenung) and canned food alternatingly, for variety and choices.
