Im not to earn any profit from the kitty if Puteri give a birth, point is, its time for Puteri to have sex.

Animals are not like humans, they dont have any 'need' to have sex, they wont feel lonely or depressed if they dont.
In fact They probably dont even experience any kind of pleasure from it.
Your cat is not 'horny' shes just acting according to natures built in automatic system to continue the species.
Please just get your cat spayed, Its better for her.
Rather than expose her to unknown cats with unknown genes and diseases, causing her to fight and maybe get injured and be stressed.
Im not even going to start about how you dont have any clear plans on what you will do with the kittens...

Yeah, if the food/kibbles are exposed too long, Oren also won't eat... Even there's still some left in the bowl he will keep on meowing for food. Show him the ones in the bowl, ignore... Put fresh one baru makan sweat.gif

One of my cats does exactly the same thing doh.gif . When he does this we pretend to add more but actually we just open the container and stir the bowl with an empty scoop, Sometimes he falls for it sometimes he wont laugh.gif Sometimes all we need to do is top up with a few fresh ones and he will finish everything.

QUOTE(selenium @ Feb 28 2008, 05:33 PM)
the cats i kill are those cats that come in my house and steal my food. idiots. they belong to a crazy cat lady in my area. i also flung 300 cats in a catapult over few buildings(in simpsons hit and run there is a catapult whre u can fling unlimited amounts of cat over a long distance - maybe matt groening hate cats)

plus my cat aint like those malaysian cat ugly and so streotypical triangle face. wuahahhahaha

doctor gave my cat makan some wheat thing to make it go into a diet and it eat my dog food. not i purposely feed the cat my dog food. plus i dont really care about the cat. its my sisters. i am more of a dog person. i love pets who are loyal ant not back stabbin cats.
*
Any animal no matter how ugly and unwanted, how beautiful and expensive has an equal right to live.
Those cats that come to your house and steal your food are doing so because they are hungry and its the nature of any living being to seek food when they are hungry. If you have a problem with the 'crazy cat lady' settle it with her, not by taking it out on innocent animals

If your neighbors small child accidentally wandered into your house and ate some sweets he saw on the table would you shoot him too? dont say it is not the same

Please stick to fulfilling your need to murder and abuse animals in video games only. And yes you are very sick and twisted, because there is no need to kill those cats, you can easily just chase them out. Clearly you shoot them because you enjoy their suffering.

Claiming your more of a dog person and you love animals who are loyal is a truely pathetic excuse. You only love your dog because its useful to you. You love its loyalty because it makes you feel good

Any person who feels real love for any kind of animal, no matter dog, cat, rodent, reptile, fish or insect can easily see through your weak justification for your mentally warped behaviour.

The only thing you love is yourself.

Actually as far as cats food go Iams is very poor quality...
Our beloved cats are one of the few household pets that are True obligate carnivores Obligate carnivores need protein that comes from the tissue of other animals, they cannot survive without it
which means food like Iams which is full of grain fillers like corn and such is giving them very little of the meat protein that they need

Just like humans, animals love tasty unhealthy junk food like stuff so thats why they eat up the Lower quality brands so quick. Because its full of artificial flavorings :/ and its giving them less animal source protein so they need to eat more.

Heres a guide on how to rate your pets food, the brands they rate below are all dog foods but cat and dog foods are almost the same with very slight differences in nutrient lvls

Now i realize that not everyone can afford those high quality stuff especially when you have many cats to feed smile.gif
But you should be aware and know what exactly you are feeding your pets and never judge by brand alone

Always read the ingredients and judge for yourself

KP : Any meat fed to your pet should be cooked, as raw meats have a chance of transmitting bacteria like salmonella ( my cats love boiled chicken meat too hehe )

Below is a rating system for pet foods that may be helpful in showing you where your current brand lies and what are considered quality ingredients.

How to grade your pet's food:
Start with a grade of 100:
1) For every listing of "by-product", subtract 10 points
2) For every non-specific animal source ("meat" or "poultry", meat, meal or fat -not actual protein source stated such as chicken, lamb, turkey etc) reference, subtract 10 points
3) If the food contains BHA, BHT, or ethoxyquin, subtract 10 points for each
4) For every grain "mill run" or non-specific grain source, subtract 5 points
5) If the same grain ingredient is used 2 or more times in the first five ingredients (I.e. "ground brown rice", "brewers rice", "rice flour" are all the same grain), subtract 5 points
6) If the meat protein sources are not in the top 3 ingredients, subtract 3 points
7) If it contains any artificial colorants or preservatives, subtract 3 points for each
8 ) If it contains corn (ground corn, corn gluten, whole grain corn etc) subtract 3points
9) If corn is listed in the top 5 ingredients, subtract 2 more points
10) If the food contains any added animal fat other than fish or flaxseed oil, subtract 2 points
11) If it contains soy or soybeans, subtract 2 points
13) If it contains wheat or a component of wheat such as gluten, subtract 3 points
14) If it contains "digest" subtract 5 points
15) If it contains salt, subtract 1 point

Extra Credits:
Bonus credit-If the food contains NO grains, add 10 points

1) If any of the meat sources are organic, add 5 points
2) If the protein source is meal vs meat, add 5 points
3) If the food is baked not extruded, add 5 points
4) If the food contains probiotics or prebiotics, add 3 points
5) If the food contains fruit, add 3 points
6) If the food contains vegetables (NOT corn or other grains), add 3 points
7) If the animal sources are hormone-free and antibiotic-free, add 2 points (these may be hard to determine as many manufacturers of natural holistic food use these products without actually printing the information on the bag)
8 ) If the food contains barley, add 2 points
9) If the food contains flax seed oil (not just the seeds), add 2points
10) If the food contains oats or oatmeal, add 1 point
11) If the food contains sunflower oil, add 1 point
12) For every different specific animal protein source (other than the first one; count "chicken" and "chicken meal" as only one protein source, but "chicken" and "" as 2 different sources), add 1 point
13) If it contains glucosamine and chondroitin, add 1 point
14) If the vegetables are pesticide-free, add 1 point

Score:
100+ = A+ 94-100=A 86-93 = B 76-85 = C 75 or lower= Failed

Some of the scores (not in order of points):

Canidae / (Felidae) Score 117 A+

Hund-n-Flocken Adult Dog (lamb) by Solid Gold /
(Katz-n-Flocken All Stages by Solid Gold) Score 100 A
Innova Evo / Score 129 A
Orijen-not yet rated-high score guaranteed

A sample of "popular" store brands scored:

Iams Lamb Meal & Rice Formula Premium / Score 73 F
Purina Beneful / Score 17 F
Science Diet Advanced Protein Senior 7+ / Score 63 F
Science Diet for Large Breed Puppies / Score 69 F

Well, yes logically all animals are designed to eat food in their raw form
But do cats need raw meat so badly that it is worth the risk?
All food loses a certain amount of its goodness when cooked, but it still retains alot of benefits

Cooked meat = good for your cat and safe
Raw meat = might be better for your cat but also potentially harmful

(and not only to your cats, salmonella can also spread to other pets in your household as well as you and your family)

alo meow lovers.. ok here's da thing.. i just need an advice from al of u on how to teach a stray cat no to shit in front of my house.. coz practically im tired of washing the cats shit. Basically what i have done to the cat including spraying that cat using the water hose when the i see the cat, my neighbour sometimes throw stones at the cat, etc.. so before we do anything drastic to the cat, can someone advice us on how to teach the cat to position its shitting place to somewhere else. tqvm
*
I think you can buy some stuff specially designed to deter cats from doing this (it's not poison) it just smells really stinky, but I can't remember what it's called. Try to ask pet shop or vets?

Another thing is my gramma will sprinkle abit of ash on the grass to make them stop doing their buisness in her garden ( just normal ash from burning joss sticks) i dont understand how this works but she claims it really works. Maybe they dont like the burning ashy smell or the fine ash irritates their nose.

Edit: quoted the wrong person

Must take pic!

Somehow that does not quite sound logical to me, sounds like the facts have been twisted abit to make raw food sound good

Salmonella (or most other bacteria) cannot survive the heat of most cooking processes, and commercial pet food is all cooked

How can commercial pet food contain salmonella?

Even if the raw ingredients contained salmonella, by time it goes thru all that crazy high heat processing its no longer there when you open the can/packet.

As far as i know salmonella is only a risk with raw food?

My husband insist that we switch back to Litter Star since the Breeders Celect is finish, however there is some sort of stock/shipment problem with Litter Star thus it is not available at all the regular places I can find it... Pening looking for it yesterday rclxub.gif Clay type is definitely a No-No to us... then the other crystal type brand is Karlie Percato which is more expensive and not worth it for the amount...

No wonder i couldn't find Litter Star when my last bag was finishing.
Bought the Karlie Percato instead, works the same but so overpriced sad.gif

and many ladies out there also think that guys who have cats as pets are waaayyyy cuter. and hotter too. hehehe.
*
Incidentally, i have quite a few male friend who are gay. For some reason most of them are craaazy about dogs, especially toy dogs.
It is true that women will appreciate a man who likes cats ( or any non macho pet ) because then they know the guy is confident enough to show their gentle and kind side.
Guys who like macho pets are sometimes (not always) insecure and trying too hard to prove something laugh.gif

Better to avoid Friskies and Whiskas
Rather than spend money on vet bills later
Its better to spend a little bit extra on the food now:)
