I'm having a big headache. My WWs are fighting as if there's no tmrw. I put the male together, they fight. I put female with the male, they breed. I have 10 hammies now. Do I really need to put them separately in 10 cages? cry.gif
*
well, u ought to separate them in the first place.. do not place them together anymore.. u should have thought tat this would happen in the first place.. separate those that cannot be placed together..

u can actually start touching them when their fur have grown.. but beware because they walk very fast.. careful not to drop them or hold them too high, so as not to injure them..

Hows the cottage cheese looks like? Can hamster really eat them?

I would suggest not giving your hamster cheese. Most animals are lactose intolerant and cheese and milk can give them diarrhea.

how to describe cottage cheese? u can always google it if u dunno.. if i din rmb wrongly sum1 ere mentioned can feed cottage cheese to hamsters.. but in small amounts of cos.. anything if fed too much is not good also.. safest is stick to hamster mix plus protein food n veggies/fruits.. but beware of the wet-tail disease..

Cheese is salty.... and this comes from personal experience.... well, I tried this when I was a hamster newbie hahahah.... feeding cheese, it would make your hamster's pee smell stronger loh. But also it is full of salt and fat, so better not feed. Cottage cheese is ok coz low in fat and salt.
