Well, I think no one will take a 10 meter picture in darkness right? I think it works well within 2~5 meters, which is enough already.

Oh btw I found taht using the FExplorer to kill off the tsrautostart.exe doesn't complete remove the bug. As certain apps still having the same copy/paste problem. Oh wait FExplorer doesn't kill tsrautostart.exe at all, am I getting right on this?

Finish setting up the Home media network on both my laptop & N82.

First of all its cool, I can play media to or from N82/laptop or wise versa, works like a remote control for example, I can select files to play on N82 or run it in the Laptop. There is a problem for Video and it seems only mp4 file is supported, so if the ori file is .avi file it will prompt in N82 "not supported", I use another application (called Free video to Ipod converted) to convert avi to mp4 then solve the prob already.

2nd Another prob I found is that when I browse media content in N82 from laptop via the Home Media Server, it shows no files detected, do you encounter the same prob? I also try from N82 galery > select a picture > Options > show via home network > Select Device shows nothing... hmm strange

and why does the nokia headset sounds terrible when i connected it to my laptop but sounds ok when its connected to n82???

however, my headphone produced the same sounds both on my laptop and n82.

each time when u launch garmin,the tsautostart.exe will run again...so,once u exit garmin,launch fexplorer,then kill the process...it will be ok again..remember,kill it each time after you launch garmin

No man, I didn't start Garmin at all. I open the process and search down the list for tsautostart.exe and press C to kill right and choose yes. But I still see it on the list. Am I doing it right?

oh yes...it is still there,but dont worry,the copy and paste function will remain ok..i actually tried to delete tsautostart.exe in e:/sys/bin folder,however,after i deleted,my garmin crashed...so,never try to delete it from the phone...this trick should work at least for now,until garmin developers find a solution for this...

The first time it worked for my messages, but wasn't working for other app. Weird now after I restarted my phone, the trick works on the app already. LOL

haha...no prob dude...sharing is caring...haha..too bad,this method cannot help those users that didnot sign their imei in symbiansigned.com...maybe they can find other apps that can kill hidden process...i guess thats the oonly solution....

Nokia headset is specially designed to be used with the mobile phone only. Why, because it's basically a headphone and include microphone support in that very single wire. As a result, u will see that there will be 4 metal seperation (extra 1 seperation is for the microphone function) on the 3.5mm plug, instead of 3 on your normal headphone which does not have microphone built in. Your laptop 3.5mm jack can only detect the normal 3 metal seperation plug. So if u plug in the nokia headset, there's a chance that the laptop cannot detect it properly resulting in a poorer/softer volume.

However as you say, nokia was able to use both headphone without problem because it's designed to detect 4 metal seperation. And if it can detect 4, of course 3 will be no problem for it

i find it sometimes is too bright for that distance,especially when taking pics of my cat/dogs..
but it beats using a normal cam,though not as bright

i tried,but can only "open media player" (from network options in vista)

i bought a crystal casing for my n82,and my phone hung up...tried to open the thing,ended up cracking it piece of crap

The Home Media Server supposed to act as a file sharing system. It supposed to be able to detect the media content in N82 and play in the laptop (control from laptop), but its not working. I can play media files from N82 in laptop (control from the phone)

Share as in, accessing from My Network Places -> Entire Network -> MSHome ?

a little confusing here...
just to be sure,what os are you guys using? xp,vista,linux or mac? (home media users,i mean)
