if you have not deposit any money. why not try open acc with sogo & see if you like it or not.

Actually Interactive broker is cheaper but you need to have min deposit of $10k.

Already make a deposit last week and traded liao. sad.gif Security is my main consent, so I choose optionxpress since many member here have experience with it.

Any possibility of sogotrade collapse? If you say it under SIPC. Nothing is free. I read somewhere that we may need to pay some fee as to ensure the money invest is save. Is it correct?

Financial sector geared to start week lower
BOSTON (MarketWatch) -- Some of the more speculative financial stocks that have been powering the market's gains were set to cool a bit on Monday after their recent run-up. In premarket trading, shares of Citigroup Inc. (C  5.08, -0.15, -2.87%)  were down 3%, Fannie Mae (FNM  1.92, -0.12, -5.88%)  shed 7%, Freddie Mac (FRE  2.23, -0.17, -7.08%)  slipped 7%, American International Group Inc. (AIG  45.60, -4.63, -9.22%)  fell 9% and Bank of America Corp. (BAC  17.69, -0.29, -1.61%)  dropped about 2%. Conversely, E-Trade Financial Corp. (ETFC  1.70, +0.06, +3.66%) shares were up about 4% ahead of the opening bell after Citadel Investment Group LLC said Monday that it has terminated a plan to sell up to 120 million shares of E-Trade common stock.

Yup, it does. The share will open with the last price that matched during pre-market trade.

Do analysis on which stock that you want to buy.
Check its FA and TA.
And wait for retracement then long on dips. cool2.gif

Everything off low in less than 15 minutes. Everything recovered in a short period.

Index down but my watchlist all recovered ..

Same case like KLSE CI.

yup, a bear month. Time to buy good quality stocks. To be safe, buy in stages.

Example: GE buy 100 units
13.78 x 100 = 1378$ + 10 fee = 1388
then if drop to 13 buy again say 150 = 1950 +10 = 1960 and so on, if that is your long haul target. flex.gif

We were close to 3 digits sell off.. but bounced back a bit now.
But.. still -80 at this moment.

We need 1%-2% pullback will be healthy today.
