ahh, now my observation comes true.

We are hitting high and then all the way down, to clear the bumps and craps all the way before seeing another high.

Too bad fast closing of LVS, scared of U turned. Re-enter again at 15.60, and another block at 15.45 and 15.00

Same here.. bulls are afraid of conviction above 10500. If we short at this level, we can take quick profit. nod.gif
When it bounced and dive, just try to buy at the lowest for long.

Looks like my ERX took another dive. Bought another 1/4 position at 37.35 laugh.gif
Bought TNA 36.50

This volatility is FUN!!! rclxms.gif

from another forum

On yesterday's "Jobs Summit": They're asking today, "Why aren't we creating jobs?" ...

If you have a business, would you expand it if you didn't know what the rent was going to be?

Would you hire employees if you had no idea what your income was going to be and what your taxes were going to be, what your rent's going to be, and what you're going to have to pay them?

Would you hire any new employees right now on the verge of this health care debacle without knowing what that's going to cost you?

Would you hire anybody on the verge of all of the disaster that is openly being planned and talked about in Congress?

Would you hire anybody or start a business today if you had no idea how much of the profit you will get to keep?

Three [sic] questions, all with obvious answers, so obvious anybody could answer them ... unless your name is Obama.

Unfortunately, Obama and his Dems will use this as a reason for another large "Stimulus" package. "Have hole, will dig" is their motto.

I think you need to stop entering COMMODITIES related for a while, why not entering your favourita FAS, TNA?

Bought another block of LVS at 15.70. TP 16.00

Being Asians and in the Pacific region , I rather credit Obama, the black man for clearing all the shits left by the white people.

Rather short sighted just bcos someone is losing the money. rclxub.gif

I don't blame the whites or any color. I blame the fools who bought into the bubble of the housing market.

Obama used to be bear because he's angry at the banks.
Now he's bull. He and his team want the market to be bullish. Don't fight them.

The way you talk sometimes treating others as dumb dumb.

No diff from those old folks in the old coffee shops , telling and teaching Obama what to do.

There is a limit to that.

Of course.. we need USA. We love USA and I love USD despite it going to toilet.
Even so, believe it or not it is still better than Ringgit. No substitute there.

y la get so touchy? we r all adults & criticism is part of life
if tat is how u feel, fine, i won't post in this forum
in tis real world, no one is going to refund me my monies if i lose it
am i dumb dumb for losing it?

google is your friend, to make monies & manage risk, u need to put prejudice aside
look at policies set by fed & how is the governing party in usa running the show
there r so much news out there, info overload, u need to sift thru & find wat works & which is shit
its hard work & losing monies is definitely part of the game

the key is to manage ur loss & keep it to a minimum
let ur profits roket ride
i presume u speak on behalf of everyone here
so i won't be posting here & i'll stick to the other yahoofinance forum where views are posted & defended with facts... haha

on ur point of politics, here is an article on the economic crisis & ben, which if u r upset, of coz u won't read icon_rolleyes.gif

Closing update 5:20am

Dow 10388.22 +22.07 +0.21%
Nasdaq 2194.35 +21.21 +0.98%
S&P 500 1105.89 +5.97 +0.54%

Wow!! What a ride. biggrin.gif I guess that's what happens what you get good Job numbers and Dollar up at the same time.
Interest rates mulling caused this zig zag/push and pull for stocks.

Like everyone else, I was expecting the numbers to be bad.. but the good number was unexpected. This gives the
opportunities for short to cover in pre-market and short again during surge. The sell off or short during surge at top (10500) was pretty hard - maybe it was trailing dollar bounced or what's not, I not sure but it was interesting for least for me to see massive conflicting buys/sells issued by auto-trading computers. The stocks that I was playing are
HL, IAG, ERX and TNA all hitting their intraday lows and highs - thus giving me opportunity to scalp some.

I closed out my HL and IAG position and left open ERX and TNA position. I may trim or close out my ERX after ward since the volatility and surging Oil inventory has taken a beating on this one. Overall, the bulls still won this week. biggrin.gif

Time for morning coffee before closing up for the week. yawn.gif

Anyway, how did you guys do today? laugh.gif

Just made some pocket money after covering my AIG @ 29.72. It was a good call though as AIG surge up in da last 25 minutes. Shorted PFG but, the fate is not the same as AIG vmad.gif vmad.gif .Still shorting 100 PFG @ 23.15 cry.gif cry.gif
But I just love US market as it offers you roller coaster ride, its a great market for day trader..prices super swing, but you must enjoy the thril. If you have weak heart, stay away from the ride icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

since the data is good, time to raise interest rate to 1%?

I had a bad trading day. Short INTC @ 19.80 last Thurdsay, same with URE @ 6.25. Both having BAD results.

Only LVS gave me hope. Short LVS 16.15, cover at 16.00, Long at 15.60 and 15.75.
