currently in a very very very very disappointed mood.

Bought my MSI K9A2 today, just finish got everything up and running and even lapped my F3 and planning to push my proc further where my previous board limits me.

As usual, most of us sick overclockers here, the first thing you do when u boot up will be hitting the "del" key, i was no exception. Was happy to see LOTS of overclocking setting, but... wtf the max vcore is only 1.48!!!

Crap, if they dont release any new bios to improve this, ill be dammed. RM5xx mobo only to get max 1.4v.... doh.gif

bro...something wrong v the version of bios i guess
check this out, just try to google and get this
the guy is using 1.537v for the same mobo

I dont have a prove yet bro. sad.gif
But to me,after reading a lot in this thread about TA770,its kind of promising.
With the price tag @ RM320,the layout is almost the same as TA690G,its just that its ATX.
Also,the Hyper Transport hit 5.2G. thumbup.gif
Besides,i still blur about the audio port,in the spec review said,it have S/PDIF out,but i cant see it at the rear I/O in the pictures. sweat.gif
Maybe its optional.well thats okey.

The most best part is,IF i am not mistaken, dblooi said the on board graphic is 3 times better than the TA690G.

the one with integrated gc is 780G, my friend laugh.gif
it's coming soon , while the one that we are discussing here is TA770 laugh.gif
you need an external gc in order to make it moves
about the S/PDIF, i think it's same as TA690G,
supported by using optional device. There's jumper there ready for S/PDIF cable wink.gif

the 780i that u mentioned is nvidia chipset laugh.gif
bro, is time to get a AMD HD 3850/ 3870 gc brows.gif
btw, the performance of TA770 still unconfirm ( at least to me )
so far what i know is vcore can add till 2.XXv ,
HT voltage 1.5XXv , NB/SB voltage 1.5xxv and vdimm 2.9v icon_rolleyes.gif
The november bios seems to be very buggy ,
not sure about the latest bios...
looks like we need to invite those TA770 user to join the discussion laugh.gif

ya lah need to invite those dat oredi use TA770.try google on this mobo but doesnt have much review lah..if is great for overclock and durability i think i will get this mobo,..who want a mobo dats after Oc kaw2x but can tahan for 2-3months only.to me durability is importants also.

after i read thru this thread i found out most of you guys match OUr proc wit ATI HD 3870 rather than nvidia 8800gt/gts or gtx..why haa.??with ati is really super duper Great ka interm of graphic performance ??or maybe it because ATI is from AMD too..IF ATI claims to be great gc than nvidia..can someone from you all dats experience using ATI HD3870 show some prove or any article related on these two giant GC brand.
