Bro fuilo. Start Oc-ing using multiplier 10 and ram divider 400(cpu/10= 1:1). See how far can your cpu go first. You're using value rams i supposed. Don bother OC it yet. Focus on your cpu first. And one more thing, does your proc really need to pump vcore at 2.8Ghz? Most 4000+ brisbanes dont have to add vcore to reach 2.8.

which if why, if you guys ever notice, Rams on amd will not overclock as well as rams on Intel setup. Also bro, just to let you know, indeed crucial rams are good overclockers, but they are also known to have a short lifespan and a huge number of RMAs.
*
ram doesn't overclock as well as intel becoz of the latency thingy, intel have looser latency than amd that's y ram tend to go higher in intel platform. my d9dcl can go up to ddr2 1000 w/o sweat but in amd it can only clocked up to ddr2 980 ish. smile.gif

btw, with amd, i njoy more tweakin with d ram on amd platform instead of just pumpin d clock with intel. laugh.gif

woot, another phenom.
Can u try to break 230fsb...lol. I'm really eager to see how many 9500+ can actually break that.
*
Ya, try that, actually putting 236 fsb. running good through the benchmark with the default Vcore. I am selling due to my BIOS issue. Otherwise, I am keeping it. On the bug, I can disable the TLB and enable it. That's how to compare with B3 stepping. Those waiting for B3 might want to consider as it need to wait till May. The bug very unlikely to cause system hang, as most of us do not run 100% cpu process all the time. Only virtualization on servers.

same proc as u...but different mobo
i can get 2.5GHz using 1.25Volt only... hmm.gif
*
wow 2.5GHz with normal vcore only...what mobo r u using...i've tried mine can go 2.5GHz to but need to pump vcore
till 1.5v just to get a stable system but temp can go high like 60-62 when loaded with stress

no bro, im comparing based on ratio. Then what do u think of value rams? i believe 70-80% of computers in the world are using them, thats alot dont you think? yet, ive seen more crucial RMAs than value rams.
which value ram are u talking about?

if u want to change divider, try set refresh cycle to higher latency
