U 1 year nvr use.. Got monthly fees charged for no transaction on this card rite?
*
Yup. Of course I finished the balance first before dumping it into the drawer. The funny thing is, when I logged in after 1 year, I got RM2.50 inside. So I went to check my transaction history for the past 3 months. To my surprise, there was a transaction stated "Card adjustment" and RM5 credited. Then they deducted RM2.50 for inactive card service fee. It is like they credited that RM5 just to be deducted from my account. lol.gif

After seeing the sharing by jkngo2003, I quickly dig out my AA Ezpay Passport from the drawer, as I rarely use the card after applied it for 1 year. Now I would say this card is my general card now. Why? If you fully utilize this card, you can get 5%/5.3%/6% of cashback for ANY type of transaction in the world everyday, depending which card you use to top up with! Right now, I am using UOB Vox card to top up the Ezpay Passport, this means I can use the card for any transaction and get cashback. It works like reloading Touch&Go with your CC, get cash rebate from the CC, and use the Touch&Go card at the places to enjoy the rebate.

So this card will be the ultimate general card as it yield 5-6% rebate for any type of transaction, additional unlimited overseas cashback of 0.5%, zero processing fee when purchasing AirAsia flight tickets, low exchange rate, etc.

And I have reloaded twice today, still able to top up using credit cards. thumbup.gif

Nope I topped up the card after it arrived. I topped up using CIMB AirAsia Savers account as it is free. After 1 year, I logged in and saw the option of reloading using credit card. So far the option still appears. Two weeks I guessed, couldn't recall.

Definitely a good prospect for general usage. Have you tried topping up using Vox and gotten the rebate? The payment gateway is ipay88 and Tune Money (EC) will be seen in the bill, right?

I just tried this today, but fruitie confirmed that ipay88 is entitled for rebate. Yes it will appeared as Tune Money (EC) on the statement. The SMS received from Vox is "..Your OTC is xxxxxx for your online purchase", which based on my experience, instantly tell you that it is entitled for 5.3% rebate.

You are right. But 5.3/6 percent of confirmed CB is worth the hassle, no? brows.gif

CC is actually a good tool if used wisely. Afterall, it's true that cash is king. It's all depending on individual preferences.

this transition is under mcc code 4814 and online. pls be careful coz many online transition for cashback is excluding mcc 4814(mobile payment). for aeon big card and cimb cash rebate card is not entitled cashback.

for me, I utilized this card on pervious promo like aeon spend rm 2500 to get rm 150, spend rm1000 to get rm 30, pubic bank spend rm888 to get rm88, standard chart gold card spend rm 1500 to get rm50 and etc.

don't to depend on online transition.

with this card, for first come first serve promo, you will be the first one the swipe the card. I never swipe it at 12.01 midnight coz I worry like posonline, transtition date is one day earlier. I swipe at 6am morning using aeon card, the date is still same day.

hope everyone can maximize ur cashback and hope that tunemoney don't take out this credit card reload optiion

I will need to use it on monthly, else there is RM 10 kicks in right?

Regarding the iPay88 thingy, a lot of merchants are using it and I can't remember which merchant, so try at your own risk. I did get back cash back for these transactions, I'm not liable for any misinformation ya. laugh.gif

1 swipe per month should not be difficult right? Especially this will be your general usage card smile.gif Otherwise you will be charged RM2.50 (you have already realized instead of RM10), which is cheaper than UOB Vox of RM6.36 biggrin.gif

As for iPay88, previously Groupon was using it as a payment gateway and I believe most of us have gotten the rebate from Vox. Plus the TAC SMS I received is for online purchase (similar to Posonline case), so by theory it is eligible for cashback. If anyone is in doubt, better wait for my confirmation at the end of June, meanwhile those who have PBB VS can go ahead and test out whether it has rebate innocent.gif
