Anyone got experience to use BigPay to pay for China hotel through AGODA?

I saw some website say those hotel don’t accept payment from debit card. But this is prepaid card so I am unsure.

Hope got sifu here can enlighten me because I need to book the hotel soon

Just pay to Agoda lo, no problem at all

so under AGODA payment method, i choose "Visa / MasterCard / JCB / Amex"

under Credit/debit card number i put the numbers on the BigPay card

under Card holder name i put my own name

right?

BigPayJonathan do I need to call up CS to request to activate BigPay for oversea transaction or don't need? I will be going to China next week.

Just make sure u pay to Agoda, not pay at hotel

Can I use the BigPay card to pay the Life insurance such as Allianz, Zurich, Etiqa and so on?

Is it bigpay can accept Auto debit payment to utility bill such as TM?

Yes, it should just works as normal mastercard.
However, recently there are few members reported that their auto-debit on recurring payments were failed.
I guess BigPay is checking and shall revert those member very soon.

All are Insurance Premium payment.
TM, Telco, Utility payments yet to see any report.

Read through the thread, heading to Beijing later in the year, seems that China does not play nice with cards? They prefer e-wallets?

Was planning to use this card there. Judging from WeChat Pay Msia's weak execution, what is the suggested method for now?

Need to plan ahead if I'm to exchange cash MYR > RMB here

No need to call for travel or usage in oversea, that’s one of feature of this card.

Looks like SC rm100 topup to BP not entitled with spin & win campaign

Beijing is still OK but of course they prefer e-wallet, the credit card terminals will still be there. No worries. Even with WeChat Pay Malaysia execution, I don't think ours can be used there. Only China wallet works and you will need to get someone to reload for you.

That said, generally speaking credit cards acceptance in Beijing is still OK, can't say much for the second and below tier cities.

Won't la, just now i just top up 5 X RM1 using UOB just for the purpose of waiving the annual fee, the response is very fast - OTP, done, OTP, done, OTP, done...

yes, me too, wait until my SC statement out then only start reload RM100 to test, that's more than 3 days later~
