coarse and rough engine noise is common for Campro
FC8.0L/100km..it is very very very good FC! Added on May 1, 2008, 9:42 pm QUOTE(Jeffery @ May 1 2008, 08:50 PM) Hey guys, it's me the noob again. Honestly speaking, for sub rm50k-60k car. Persona NVH, noise, vibration and harshness control is very good, no complaint for that. driven for 500km, FC 8.0L, good or not? ^^ What do you mean by hot?? Touch the bonnet and feel the temperature heat?? This post has been edited by ralf: May 1 2008, 09:42 PM |

Yea , engine is quite loud if rev on high RPM ( More than 3k ) and very hot indeed ( The front bonet ) ..driven for 500km, FC 8.0L, good or not? ^^ I notice my H-Line IAFM ( Auto ) is quieter than my company staff M-Line Non-IAFM Manual persona ..I though his persona got change the eksos or what lol PS: Jesus , I got phobia on Honda City already. .. I back from hometown again today... Going to overtake a honda city vtec again and rev high high , still not able to overtake it I scare my engine explode le , haha.. Now go until 980km+ already , this coming saturday will send for 1st service |

Campro engine is hotter than my previous 4G13... even after a short drive, you can feel the heat from the engine bay. If I wanna wash my car, hs to leave it to cool down for an hour, still not quite hot.

Don't said City VTEC, iDsi i also can't match at sprint test..the bigger brother, new CRV is pretty fast at 0-100kmh..don't suprise if you lose at traffic light sprint.I notice my H-Line IAFM ( Auto ) is quieter than my company staff M-Line Non-IAFM Manual persona ..I though his persona got change the eksos or what lol PS: Jesus , I got phobia on Honda City already. .. Now go until 980km+ already , this coming saturday will send for 1st service I will roll up to genting almost every month from Pg-KL-Genting. Even iDsi, i have hard time to catch up, kickdown 'L' lowest and '2nd' speed can't overtake iDsi... But at highway, not bad at high speed, doing 160kmh constantly, rpm 4400rpm...full tank managed to get FC 8.6L/100km, not that bad. This post has been edited by ralf: May 2 2008, 01:14 PM |

just got the car yesterday. ir/white, b/line, manual.
wanna ask about the alarm: the auto lock function still okay when the car arrived in evening, but at night, it doesnt lock the door automatically after i left it for a few minutes. Is that anything wrong with that alarm or i have switch off this function accidentally ? i have checked, all the doors and bonnets were closed. if it were switch off by me, how to switch it on ? |

i don't know about this but the behaviour of the alarm is kinda weird. the car will automatically locks after a few seconds the alarm is unarmed, but this will only happen IF there is no door opened. if a door is opened after the alarm is disarmed, then door is closed, the alarm will not automatically re-armed.

Autolock only if no door is open. Its actually safer this way. You don't want to accidentally left your key inside the car when its autolock do you? |

Yes, in fact. Lots of aftermarket alarm have this feature, door auto lock if left unattended for 30seconds. |
