Just to share, this is the exact behaviour on the Satria Neo as well, apparently its normal (Thought I still think its weird).

But I found a way to stop this from happening.

Apparently if you were to make sure you switch off the air conditioning (both buttons) and then switch off the car.. the fan blades will stop once you pull the keys out.

A side note : the fans usually behave this way, only after I done some "vigorous": driving.....
Btw hows the Persona Base-Line? Everyone here satisfied with it?

I see, thanks

bluswhitehat, I wax it myself using NXT Tech Wax (cost me around RM 108 I think). IMO waxing by pros would be better since they know how to apply the wax evenly plus they are using waxing machine, I just main taram saja pakai tangan. I just want to save some money by doing myself since I think one session of pro waxing would cost hundreds. you can check http://www.meguiars.com.my/ for details..

zhen^wei, FYI at first my SA wants to give me RM 250 voucher tapi sudah habis & I got the RM 200 voucher instead (darn it but better then nothing). I'll be going to TintMaster Setapak branch near Courts Mammoth..
*
NXT Tech Wax doesn't last. After a single wash, it's gone. hmm.gif wink.gif

i would still prefer Megs M21..top with M16 carnauba. rolleyes.gif

Added on January 21, 2008, 5:00 pmnormally like this case..would them change new part for me? or jz repair n spray?

For the rear boot, they will ketuk.

Plastic bumper, quite cheap... rm280. But the steelbar inside will kemek/dent, tear open the bumper, u will see how ugly the thick horizontal steebar inside..as usual, they will ketuk..knock knock the steel only.
After repaired, make sure the fit and finish is in good shape, else water leaking is very common...

The only reason we buy Proton is because it is good for go-kart racing, bumper, skirt are pretty cheap. tongue.gif tongue.gif
The front disc-rear drum setup is a big disappointed, i try to underinflate the tyre to 29kpa...200psi, the brake masih tak makan.. doh.gif The brake get "cooked" and "baked" easily when i step the pedal very hard, the wheel gets lock-up.
yawn...need to change my driving style already...brake earlier

Hi guys.....

damn its killing while waiting the car ...  cry.gif  cry.gif  cry.gif  anyway .... what todo .... have to wait also .. hoefully before CNY holiday else erkk mati kutu laa takde keta...

anyway ... did a little cheking on car maintenance / care.. need you guys opinion / explanation ...

1) clay VS sealent, anybody can share with me how this product will work .... hmm and what the process ... i check the product manual it says better use clay first then use the seleant...... erkk any good brand u guys can recommend .. erkk what the price range also.

2) clay / sealant combination VS WAX / POLISH .... i'm kinda noob so .. mmg in a way have no idea which one is the best.

3) any other product you guys can recommended... in the forum i read last time someone spend abt 4-5 hours doing car detailing ... if i'm not mistaken involving using clay/sealent combination ...
kasi idea sket ... sbb mmg tgk the result is damn nice ... lawa je kereta ...

thanks  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

Check this detailing thread. How to achieve show car finish.. icon_rolleyes.gif

http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/75541/+620

4-5Hours doing detailing? i spend 2days, 6-8hours per day doing full detailing, from wash-->clay--> clean the paint, -->remove some swirl and bird etching using some abrasive polish-->deep wash and rinse again-->3x coat..layering with sealant--.

Well, it is impractical to have a "show car lookalike"...because it is more prone to scratches..because typical malaysian hand very itchy..like to scratch the "show car"

PPS is overhype. It will not prevent bird etching, tree sap n bla bla sticking on the paint...

dun bother on those teflon, it is useless unless you can bake your car in the oven.

visit http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/75541/+620 if you are interested on car detailing..

No secret behind, no miracle and no rocket science. I can polish the the paint, buff out the swirls and fine scratches..finally layer(x3times, x5times) with any sealant i like..
