IAS 23 Borrowing Costs - regulates the extent to which enterprises are allowed to capitalise borrowing costs incurred on money borrowws to fincance the acquiistion of caertain assets.

Capitalise Borrowing Costs - SO, HOW its the DOUBLE ENTRY if the borrowing cost is capitalised for purchase of PPE ?

Is it Dr PPE (include borrowing cost) 150
Cr Bank 150

i think credit loan payable shud be more applicable. borrowing might be payable in short term(current) and loan term(non-current).

since u almost complete the duration required by acca..

then get one mentor to sign off all the obj for u..

once confirmed u achieve the obj, then next yr u can proceed to apply ur membership..

but pls make sure the work u perform is able to achieve the obj and is recognised as practical exp.

it depends on your interest. you can pass a paper easily if you have deep interest in it.

me myself had taken 3.2 before and failed terribly. in my opinion P6 is getting more theoritical nowadays. thus i have chosen to take P4 in this coming sitting. smile.gif
