Lion Archery has an indoor shooting arena.
Just pay them for membership and you can shoot unlimited...but..you need to get yourself to Kepong all the time, and it's not opened on Sunday...that's another silly thing.
20m range.

else,...
Range shooting you can try in Sunway Piramid. They open everyday. 4th floor just next to bowling center. 6m distance only...WTH.
..

another..
"EXPERT ARCHERY ON 2ND FLOOR, NO 27B, JALAN BOLA JARING - SHOPLOTS IN FRONT OF STADIUM SHAH ALAM MAIN ENTRANCE - IT'S AT THE BACK ROW , FACING THE SCHOOL. LOOK UP FOR THE SIGN BOARD AS THE ROAD SIGN BOARD ARE MISSING."

it seems the thread is inactive. but however thanks for clarifying the location of this shop. I knew the guy who opened the shop (Major). A friend of mine, who is also an archer told me that Major's shop is somewhere around Shah Alam's stadium, but I'm unable to find it. Thanks again.

(I have to buy a few items - especially fletchers) whistling.gif

Went to Expert Archery and speak to its owner Encik Puzi, a very nice guy and there is an 18m indoor archery range. Will try to fix my bow over there and trying to buy a dozen of new arrow as well.

keyser are you a compound user?
Anyway, anybody know about the price of items, compared to Lion Archery and UFL? Is it cheaper or almost the same?

I'm mainly compound archer and part time recurve.
Haven't buy any item from any of them yet so cannot tell the price.
But I personally feel like Expert Archery is much honest compare to Lion.

Hi guys, I'm new inhere and hopefully this is the right place for me to post my offer. Forgive me if I'm wronged. I need to let go the following.

1 unit 25inch Blue Right Handed (riser held in left hand, bow string in right) Hoyt Gold Medallist Riser with a black 5R Hoyt Eastern grip and universal limb fitting. Bought in mid 2007. New in condition with some minor 2 or 3 small paint chips. Hardly noticeable around limb fitting area. Used for 5 months only. No time to practice anymore.

Would make an excellent choice for intermediates all the way up to expert. The Gold Medallist uses tried and tested Earl Hoyt geometry and has more Olympic and World Championship medals as well as records to its name than any other.

Shipment inclusive within Malaysia for RM$350.

Kindly PM me if anyone interested for pictures request and detail. I'll also throw in other good deals for the serious archer.

ITEM SOLD ALREADY. biggrin.gif

Archery. Used to crazy about it years ago. Will pick up my bow if I have time to get the cam fix. Or just shoot with recurve first, but my recurve is sucks.

For indoor you can try bigshoot archery at Maju Junction Mall, not been there for long time. Don't know it still there or not.

For outdoor you can go to Keramat near Texas Instrument.

If you guys are willing to drive to Shah Alam there's an archery coach there. RM 25 per lesson, 1 lesson is one hour and a half. Sometimes an extra 10 minutes or so.

Just to add some information about archery, we actually can visit and register at www.archery.com.my/forum/ to get know more about archery in Malaysia. we also have trade section where we can buy or sell archery equipments, discussion and etc. I myself so far has sold few of my compound bows over there including Mathews apex (target) at rm1500, my Hoyt Trykon only for around rm1800 and few items as well. I also plan to put my Mathews switchback xt for sale as I can't afford to keep too many bow at a time.

Only one advise: dont buy any items from Azleonhart a.k.a Mohamed Azrin Shazzani because he's CONMAN.

until then, glad to know you people who has same passion as me smile.gif
