The best part of it -- most of the time, he knows what movie to pick to suit his best acting, and I'm glad he had comfortably position himself in the action-science fiction movies

There's another movie that just came out recently that's very similar to this movie. Its titled I AM OMEGA, starring Marc Dacascos.

they said that a lot of money is put in the bridge thingy . i hope it will be good . prolly will see some vampire mutant

I don't like Will Smith because he plays the same character in every movie.

Probably this remake of Charlton Heston's 'The Omega Man' will be a better..it does have will Smith, and a larger budget with better CGI

they should have made a movie out of the comic "Y The Last Man".

An almost similar plot, only thing that there r no vampire nonsense. only hot lesbians.

Lots of movies/books have this plot. All of them have protagonists that want to look for other people, weird

Legend because he is legendary monster among the 'normal' people.
Normal is vampire because everyone is a vampire like how normal now is human because most people is human.

hmm, after watchin the movie, i tot the novel's plot (which i read at wikipedia) would've been better.

this movie just made the monsters appear as monsters. according to the book, they were much more than that. and they were vampiric. not these cross breeds of zombies from 28 days later n Imhotep.

the movie's plot could've been better if only will smith went ape shit more, u know, with him thinking he was the last man on earth. he could've been more paranoid/neurotic like brad pitt in 12 monkeys (yeah, BP was the bomb in that movie!).

it just didn't give the "oh no wonder it's called this title" feel as in the book.

@ 1st I watch the trailer, I thought I,Robot 2 =P Coz I remember the bridge. Is almost the same show in I,Robot.

The movie is a bit different in comparison with the novel, the dog in the book doesnt exist that early like in the movie...

I didn't look at my watch,but I know it's no longer than 2 hours.The story could've been expanded more,it felt incomplete to me.

NO so like tis movie. If u expected the zombie to come out, better watch RE. Tis movie 2 less scene of it. But the nice thing is it really surprised u cuz almost the whole scene is so quiet. Good job to bring the scene wer he's really alone at DAYTIME

No idea coz am not a fan of Resident Evil. Anyway, just watch the show and you will understand. The guys in "I am legend" doesn't look like vampire to me either ...

I find the movie was kind of interesting. Lub sci fi.

Its not fully following the original novel. I guess its due to time constraint.

I don't really like it, kinda disappointing since I looking forward to watch for this since I dream of this movie. My dream is even better. I don't like the ending

It's like the other version of Resident Evil, people get virus created by man, kill most of the people in the world (or at least turn it into undead demon)

On side note I love movies that don't shows sex or anything like those. If I want that I better watch pr0n (yes I looking at you ongpohheng )

Just watched the movie this evening. Not bad I think. Much better than the last movie I watched before this one (The Golden Compass).

It looks like remake of 'The Omega Man' which itself is a medicore-action film but the newer one has less action-scene. *SPOILER*:
















What I like about this movie:
1. CG. The scene of New York city in ruins is probably the most memorable stage. A must for every hardcore post-apocalyptic fanatics
2. The emotion of protagonist facing loneliness while hoping to find other living human.
3. Arnold Schwarzenegger is not in. Seriously, if he's in, it might turn into a 'zombie-killing with tons of ammunition and bomb movie' :roll:

What I don't like about this movie:
1. Cheesy humor.
2. Cheesy creature design (what not vampire?!)
3. Ridley Scott is not the director. I like his style which use lots of smoke to create a blur and foggy atmosphere.
4. The ending feels like the end of a MTV (not surprisingly the director begins his carrier directing MTV) :roll:

The plot was actually very interesting. This is among the movies that will keep me thinking even after watching it. I'll always wonder what would I do if I were in Will Smith's shoes.

Anyways, the story was a bit slow and dragging, but the action and surprises were superb. Its really ironic to have a story like this to end in less than 2 hours. It has so much potential, and I feel that the female survivor and her son didnt have enough exposure in the story to evolve. As well as the Darkseeker leader, he plays a really scary role, I really wish the story would have something more of what he fits in the whole story.

Plus, the cure! Darn, so surprised the movie could actually hid the nipples! Anyways, i was abit confusing when will said that the cure was in the cured zombie blood instead of his. I suppose the cure was an evolved mix of will's blood and the zombie.

I really wished the story would be alot longer to allow a better storyline. Or perhaps it is possible to make a sequel?

watched it this afternoon. very very disappointed. the plot is plain. and i really have to praise the trailer they created for the movie. but unfortunately the movie is not as interesting as the trailer.
