Still a good movie thou... but it's a little bit too short for me and the ending is kinda anti-climatic. But if it's too long then we'll see lots of people falling asleep in cinema, since I already saw a few fall asleep at a 12noon show.
It's hard not to compare it with Cast Away, since both share the similarity of isolation and loneliness. Well, both has their imaginary friends like Fred the mannequin and Wilson the volleyball. But in terms of acting, Will Smith did it pretty well, but still not good enough, still miles away from Hanks acting in Cast Away.
I still like Sam the dog the best
Btw, do you notice Neville put the lady mannequin (the one he's interested at) browsing at the Adult section?
One thing I'm not happy about it's the CGI of the zombies (which suppose to be vampires like anyway), seems like the production have spend too much money on clearing the NY streets, and spend less on the CGI and the effects of the explosions. Sorry to say those "zombie" CGIs are just like a ripped off from the resident evil game. They are just too fake and not realistic enought!
Also I wish they could skip the part where
