QUOTE(icemanfx @ Aug 30 2019, 01:07 PM) Citi priority the lowest tier of "priority" banking. Each RM is assigned over a thousand account and they have monthly revenue target. For personalized service, one could choose citigold tier. Why other bank can do and they couldn't? A normal banker will call me to remind me for upcoming e-FD maturing and offering higher interest for OTC placement. FD amount is not very big at all.

QUOTE(icemanfx @ Aug 30 2019, 01:26 PM) That depends on how many account the RM handle and what are her priority or target. What I dislike is that she just wants to sell UT/retail bond to me. And she doesn't disclose everything properly and pushes the request to CitiPhone or cashier counter which is not what she said during sign up. I don't mind if she doesn't call/approach me for any deal but when I contact her, at least could assist on the request. This post has been edited by CardNoob: Aug 30 2019, 01:29 PM

For reasons, banks segregate customers to different tiers, so could market their products more efficiently. If you don't like RM selling products could choose banks RM that are not commission based e.g bos.

Quick question:
Which bank PB doesn’t require POI for their complimentary credit cards when one has the required minimum AUM with them?

Thinking of moving cash out from my CIMB Preferred account to other premier banking if got promotion like free Dyson or something CIMB Preferred is convenient (special parking spot in front of bank, special waiting area, RM do FD for you etc.) but I don't have much confidence in their infrastructure as a whole: CIMB Clicks is buggy as hell with frequent downtimes. Wonder if anyone has any priority banking to recommend? HSBC Premier looks attractive since I've been in their priority banking area last time to ask about loans, but idk what their RM service is like.

I also plan to move my cash out of CIMB Preferred. Recently, been having some unfavourable experience with the KLCC branch.
Their FD rates not that attractive anymore. And my RM replies with my inquiries take forever. And yesterday, went to the branch to change new ANG BAO ringgit notes took me an hour and a half. My RM message me in the morning said there're available new notes, I told him thanks and ask him to prep for me as I;m in a hurry. When I arrived at the time he told me earlier, he not yet prep my money, so I wait, sigh...

Moved out from cimb as their system had been frequently down, apps is always down after 6pm in my mind.. i dunno they upgraded it or not.. Except for the airport lounge, ntg much. But their system just doesnt giv me confidence at all. Transfer most to hlb for that reason..
