I was wondering, those who are priority customer with a bank. May I know what's the benefits do you get? and how's your Relationship manager?

For me, I got Hong Leong, actually nothing terrific.

My RM help me to diversify my portfolio and introduce me to a structure product investment, which are ok. Then he keep introducing other investments. He also help me do my FD when FD mature, i don't have to q.

Thinking of moving cash out from my CIMB Preferred account to other premier banking if got promotion like free Dyson or something CIMB Preferred is convenient (special parking spot in front of bank, special waiting area, RM do FD for you etc.) but I don't have much confidence in their infrastructure as a whole: CIMB Clicks is buggy as hell with frequent downtimes.

Wonder if anyone has any priority banking to recommend? HSBC Premier looks attractive since I've been in their priority banking area last time to ask about loans, but idk what their RM service is like.

Not necessary the AUM 🤦‍♀️ but the length of the bank account coupled with limited availability of the branch of choice plays a factor with many of the safety deposit are being allocated to paid customers

I am still have the free deposit box free due to loyalty while AUM is less than priority level 🤦‍♀️

Which banks' priority banking complimentary credit card does not have minimum income requirement as long as the customer maintains the required AUM to qualify?

I was told certain banks' complimentary priority banking credit card still have minimum income requirement despite fulfilling the bank's AUM for priority membership.

what happen is you just take out the 500k degrade to normal banking kut

okay if I may add. I can see the appeal of having Ambank priority banking (unlimited lounge access!). But I'm still unsure if it worth my effort.

I think most people reading this can definitely afford the whatever amount required for priority banking. Can anyone enlighten me on the reason to have a priority banking account?

Now I have paid off my house & car. I park most my cash in IBKR (stocks, bonds, futures). I keep my "liquid" cash in FD and MM instruments, and I make a conscious effort to ensure I'm not keeping too much cash (except when the market is insane). I haven't came across any perk that worth my effort to "ensure" myself having 300k in the bank at all time.

Maybe like they say, if you don't see the point, you're not there yet. haha.
