Cross Border might be listed as free for HSBC but how are their forex rates?

Can't comment on this as I rarely perform forex transaction through a bank. Mostly use fintech instead.

Qualify and a client of is different matter. Self qualified could be syok sendiri.

Private bank customers receive market update/research regularly. Perhaps you could share a few here.

I recently met a few RM from Maybank, CIMB and SC.... so far I find SC RM is more knowledgable about investments etc. SC say if put Rm100k in FD can get 5% FD rate. Also anyone tried their Prudential Takaful BSN investment? Apparently if apply then will get 6% FD. Anyone here can comment if this is true? Sounds too good to be true.... sweat.gif

If you bought Takaful BSN investment. They will deduct sales charge from your investment. That is why they can give you back some additional interest in FD (equal or less amount).

not partially. if - sales charge and assuming UT break even @ 1:1 ratio already ~3% p.a. only. Basically need to bet UT perform at 7% for entire year to really a clean 5% on entire investment (200k in example)

Perhaps more details can help - i enjoy the counter service, but I have only called them once , and they cannot do things differently for Preferred - follow bank rules and policy.
