I buy shares, local and foreign, from Chartered Bank so don't have to put into FD. Are there any other bank that can do that?

I was given Lounge Key, similar to Priority Pass, to enter lounge

Hi, for trading via SmartStocks, SC consider these funds as your AUM too? If Yes, SC much better than other banks. Just google, SC take 0.05% brokerage for priority, 0% for priority private?

If neither, do you know what they charge for normal people?

Hi.
Just to double confirm, the shares held under SCB SmartStocks nominee account will be considered part of AUM for SCB priority private status?

I walked into 2 different branches about a year ago.
1st branch said not considered.
2nd branch said yes
Perhaps the 1st RM I spoke to didn't want my business as most of my AUM will be shares.

Did you transfer your current shares from your CDS account over to SCB?
Was wondering if it is possible to do so without having to liquidate current holdings, bring the cash over and then purchase again.

On a separate note.
I understand that some of the benefits such as lounge access will be tied to the Priority Banking Visa Infinite credit card.
Does anyone know if the bank can take into consideration my dividend income from bursa listed shares if I'm currently not working, for the credit cad application?

Thank you!

Qualifying for the priority credit card is a minimum of 96k per annum. Assuming you have 100k dividend income, would mean your portfolio is at least rm2mil. I think they will give you the card.

It is possible to transfer from CDP into any custodian acct in SG. And vice-versa… there are steps to follow to achieve either…

Going bybthe above principle, it shld be doable in Msia too. You just need to get hold of the forms to fill-up and to submit to the right parties.

For purpose of being entitled to the benefits offered under the Program, each cardholder who has successfully enrolled in the Program is required to meet either of the following criteria:
(a) a qualified AmBank SIGNATURE Priority Banking customer with Principal Account holding of Assets Under Management (AUM) above Ringgit Malaysia Five Hundred Thousand (RM500,000.00) at the point of enrolment; or
(b) to spend a minimum of Ringgit Malaysia Thirty Thousand (RM30,000) Only cumulative retail purchases (excluding Balance Transfer, Cash advance and Quick Cash transactions) over a period of one (1) year from the date of successful membership enrolment.
If the cardholder does not meet the aforementioned requirement, a membership fee of Ringgit Malaysia Three Hundred Fifty (RM350) Only will be charged to the cardholder's Credit Card/Credit Card-i account.

In the event of cancellation/termination of Club Marriott Malaysia membership before the minimum spending requirement of Ringgit Malaysia Thirty Thousand (RM30,000) Only is met, the membership fee of Ringgit Malaysia Three Hundred Fifty (RM350) Only will be charged to the cardholder's Credit Card/Credit Card-i account immediately succeeding the cancellation/termination.

ya, unless got some special product that reserve for VVIP customers (private banking), nothing special about privilege banking.

UOB Privilege banking = 500k AUM
UOB Wealth banking = 150k AUM

If only want to put deposit (too much money) don't want invest in other area, put in CIMB better (make sure get better rate) coz got free credit card to use whistling.gif (250k AUM 'only').
