The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is now official and it's the brand's ultimate photography-centric flagship smartphone with Leica co-developed cameras.

Here's the official pricing in China:
12GB + 256GB - CNY6,499 (RM3,977)
16GB + 512GB - CNY6,999 (RM4,284)
16GB + 1TB - CNY7,799 (RM4,773)
16GB + 1TB (Dual Satellite version) - CNY7,999 (RM4,896)

It features a 6.73" 3200x1440 120Hz AMOLED display powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite that's paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

In the main camera department, it features a 50MP" 1-inch Sony LYT-900 sensor with fixed f/1.63 aperture, 200MP f/2.6 super telephoto zoom camera with 1/1.4" Samsung HP9 sensor, 50MP f/1.8 telephoto with Sony IMX858 sensor and 50MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera.

It also packs a large 6,000mAh battery that supports 90W fast wired charging and 80W fast wireless charging.

Xiaomi is also selling the professional camera kit for CNY699 (RM428) which features a detachable finger grip, replaceable shutter button, built-in 2,000mAh battery and a Leica limited watermark.

I have been using Xiao mi for years one of the benefit hells a lot bloody ads everywhere ads ads ads that how they keep their price cheap . The UI is okay but not as stunning as samsung one UI

So compare to CN, we don't get the 6000mah battery, no charger in case... And no turtoise color (DAMNNNNNNN) and the photography kit no silver and gold color (double DAMNNNNNNN). Hmm so I stuck with classic double tone and gaming black red option.

Totally agree with you , even my wife iphone 16pro max having some Touch Delay and have to do some setting to fix it , after a month camera enter tiny dust , then now have a little GAP between the screen and frame on the top left (stil thinking want to send for warranty , because might not able to use phone for few day which make she so frustrated) , whatsapp unable to create sticker but it already fix in recent update.

Deciding between X15 and S25. At first decided already on X15 coz initially thought they will give the charger as well. Turns out no so now deciding again

The phone seems interesting and unique with the photography kit being the difference. After some years of same shite with all of the other flagships. Skip the S25 Ultra for the same shite that Samsung is throwing us, still with 12GB of RAM. Oppo Find N5 on the other hand is a pretty interesting foldable but comes with poor sensor 8MP UW on a RM8k-priced phone.

If like this, not worth to buy.

Any long term xiaomi users can comment on the software experience? Especially the recent ones. My only exp was mi 9T with the cool pop up camera..ahaha. And it wasnt good.. sometimes laggy and buggy. That was miui back in 2019. Currently long term samsung oneui user.

mi 9T is using snapdragon 730 series , for sure the experience wont be good , i been started using xiaomi is the 10T without the PRO which is snapdragon 865 with 144hz refresh rate , superduper good ! And always remember hunt for 8 series chip no matter what , because it's the high end line for the snapdragon


For the 15ultra , u wont dissapointed with the latest 8Elite chip....it blow away in term of speed & efficiency

about the buggy software that people keep complaining , i not sure why i really didnt face serious issues on my xiaomi 10T , after 2 year i pass to my dad to continue use lagi....recently just changed new battery and stil stand strong......he also never complain any bug issues , he just keep saying that "That phone is fast compared to his old cheap phone , charge very fast too"



For the samsung phone what i dont like is the shutter lag , did u feel shutter lag each time u snap the photo on your samsung phone?

For me don't expect much from Xiao mi. The issue many don't understand its call optimisation. I had a poco phone they have tons of ads, everything is ads, browser got ads, system apps got ads, everywhere ads, hope their ultra don't use similar concept

Yes.. i think the shutter lag is a weakness for samsung phones, they never bothered to fix. The only way around is manual/pro mode. Do all banking/ewallet apps work ?

I read about ads too..where does the ads pop up? i dont really understand what people mean by ads in the OS. Means some ads banner will pop up on play store for example? I used samsung and ios mostly..so didnt encounter before.
