I’m already having an iPhone 16 Pro Max as my main phone but my secondary iPhone was stolen recently, so I’m still searching for its replacement. In my case, is it worth getting an Xiaomi 15 Ultra for photography? I have no issue with my 16PM for photography though but it seems 15 Ultra takes more aesthetic looks photos which I like.

I have left Android since 2020 and never really used a Xiaomi phone before but if my memory serves me well, I remember it had a lot of ads. Is it still the case in 2025? sweat.gif

I checked out Shopee and it’s around RM 4.7k. I will probably wait until Lazada birthday and Payday sales to see if the price will be more competitive. laugh.gif

No. For face unlock pleasures like the Tim Team Apple, better get below:

We won't be happy with the reliability of HyperOS. MagicOS is way better than HyperOS.

Pix & vix between See-How-Me & Who-R-We are not identical but for long term usage in Android eco-system, better get the Who-R-We...better test drive both devices at nearby kiosk before commit...

I suggest you write and reply properly, avoiding using confusing terms or just simply choose not to reply. I have no idea what you talking about.

I am not concerned about the face unlock because I know Apple does better in this area. After all, it’s just my secondary phone which I won’t install any important apps.

Just interested with the photography only. OS wise so long it’s not that bad I can accept but if too many ads then... rclxub.gif Definitely I will try it out when I have the chance, not desperately or urgently in getting it.

From what I've seen, public sided more on Vivo camera especially their Color profiles (which is on the colder side (blue-er)). But I decided to give Xiaomi a try (Switching from Samsung S23FE) and still holding iPhone 12 Pro Max as Secondary. The battery life of my 12PM is still great... it has less than 4000mah and yet able to tank till end of the day. Currently i can't give you any of my experience with Xiaomi 15 Ultra since it still inside the box... since i receive it, I've been out stationed quite often these two weeks, really have no time to transfer everything over to Xiaomi, and my Case/SP also haven arrive.

Now thinking whether should i configure Xiaomi as my Primary phone or iPhone for Banking, Authenticator, Token etc.  hmm.gif . I know my company uses Company Portal which may not really work on Xiaomi Phone thanks to Ms Defender not really support Xiaomi

My secondary phone was the 12 Pro Max and it was stolen during my trip to Barcelona. OK, I look forward to your sharing later. biggrin.gif
I think you should stick to iPhone as your primary phone for the banking stuff and authenticator.

About the Vivo one, I think the colors are not to my liking actually.. Hmm but I could be wrong.

Seems best 3D face unlock on Android is Honor Magic 7 .

I don't know and it is not a concern for me. laugh.gif

i think what he mean is , xiaomi might have better camera quality and spec overall if compared to the Honor Magic 7 pro , but for the long run especially if u aim for the stable the OS (xiaomi = HyperOS vs M7Pro = MagicOS) , the MagicOS will be more stable and less bugs compared to the Xiaomi HyperOS

So he rather choose M7PRO for stable OS in run long to sacrifice a little Imagine/Video Quality.

But since its your secondary phone and u aim for photography , if i'm you, i will just go for my main AIM which is "photo" & grab the xiaomi 15 ultra
For working & Security , just continue with your trusted iphone 16proMAX iOS

Hope that helps  biggrin.gif

Then type out the brand properly. sweat.gif

Cannot sacrifice for photography. tongue.gif

Yeah, will stick to the iPhone for primary usage. biggrin.gif

Thanks for the comment.
