If rushing then just buy from official s store now. After less the coin is 3.3k, 0% installment over 6 months and even free a s4 watch that cost around 500 (current listing). Factor everything in, it's 2.8k vs 2.7k with much less hassle and peace of mind......

Silicon carbon was mainly marketing gimmick. It's basically a tech to make a more energy dense battery at smaller size.

In real life a same rating battery mostly perform similar with or without silicone carbon tech. The main different is just the size.

For smart phone bigger battery is not directly translating to better sot. It's heavily affected by the optimization of hardware & software.

Eg, s25 ultra although is only come with 5000mah battery, it sot is either on par of slightly below those come with 6000mah.

I believe it's due to software. Mi photo post processing was not as good as pixel/samsung/bkk/fruit. Most of the time those brand take better photo although they have inferior hardware.

Yup for normal user i17 is good enough. Everything was good except battery, slow charging and lack of telephoto cam. It should be easily last a day for normal user as 🍎 battery efficiency was the best. Under same battery capacity, 🍎 will last longer. It will be interesting to see how android set their price moving onward, if too high people will go for i17 instead.

The problem with Xiaomi this generation is the marketing. Their launch presentation is basically about apple. It was mentioned more than their own brand. Moreover they purposely copy the name..... CEO or marketing director who come out with this idea should be fired. Because of what they do, It's embarrassing for the user to said I am using Xiaomi 17 pro max 🤦. You might also find a lot of information online whereby their Xiaomi store in china are very empty and their share price in HK dropped sharply after their launch of mi 17. For eg in mi they bluff on how good is their own invented 炫戒 soc during the start of their launching event, but all the end all mi 17 using snapdragon. like what I mentioned earlier, good thing no need bluff.

Yes I am using 12t pro with snapdragon soc. Yes built in ads for Xiaomi app like music, store etc etc still persist. Just use third party app then won't have this issue.

Bug wise yes, on and off some random bug especially during dual screen. Lately one occasion suddenly restart and stuck at the mi logo for very long time. Only able to access device normally after force restart twice. No update or anything lately.

My wife 13t with media dimensity is even worst where the camera app itself is lagging. Not sure is dimensity fault or not. Mine don't have this problem, just that I feel sometimes it's not able to focus and have to restart the app.

At the end she changed to iphone 17. The only advantage is the price. Camera performance no way close to flagship level, 13t got Leica brand but somehow I feel like my 12t pro took a better photo.

The hyperos wise feel nothing special for global rom. One thing can say for sure is update very slow, now end of November but still stuck with august security patch. According to the history, mi have very slow update, the only time they roll out update is when they launch a new phone.

To summarize not recommend to buy their t series but I don't have any recommendation for alternative brand with similar price range.

Not after update or what. The random bug have being ongoing since day 1 of ownership but tbh it's nothing serious, just kind of annoying. Sometimes just trigger restart manually and it will back to normal.

The serious case are the recent restart and stuck at the logo but so far I experienced it once only. Software experience so so with terrible update speed. Anyway seriously not recommend it.
