Ah I think unless Oppo find X8 ultra comes out this is my phone upgrade.
Samsung really disappointed in terms of hardware, no silicone battery was a big sad. Camera also not much change.

QUOTE(milksoda @ Mar 9 2025, 05:25 PM) not going to use screen protector on the phone as i don't like those tempered glass feel. but I'm going to buy some nd filter and some lens cover to protect the camera. can use with the photography case that came with Is this available locally from lazada or shopee? are you buying from taboa ke?![]() ![]() Found this link but it's mention for the 14 lense kit i assume lens kit are standard, can use it with the 15ultra lens kit ke? https://www.lazada.com.my/products/leica-le....list.0&stock=1 QUOTE(Lon3Rang3r00 @ Mar 9 2025, 07:03 PM) Glad you've asked, I will go and order the lens cover from smart devil. Taobao got more option. Probably wait all the "protection" arrive before start using it. I also always put my phone, coins and keys in the same pocket. So far am holding on it and put im pockets where it's empty. This lens cover give good protection ? not familiar with this smart devil.![]() This post has been edited by naTTan: Mar 10 2025, 12:50 AM |

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Mar 12 2025, 04:59 PM) In dim light room, BBK's 30x and 100x periscope like "water-colour" effect. See-How-Me retain the edges but with more shadows surrounding edges. Colour wise, they are all acceptable as the calendar background is white in well-lit room. The Xiaomi seems sharperThat being said I find the volume on apps differ. I have to continuesly adjust the sound level from one app to another like Spotify Vs tiktok Vs YouTube. I didn't have to do this on Samsung. QUOTE(azhar75 @ Mar 16 2025, 12:08 PM) The native stock cam app for See-How-Me is rubbish!!! Probably a software update can settle it if they really want to fix it. Like you said the hardware is there just the algorithm not tweaked. But you can force it to 200 with ultra hd right but macam cannot zoom?In dim light condition, the app will use the main 50MP Sony LYT900 (1") sensor to capture anything between 1.0X tlll 19.9X zoom. But when zoom at exactly 20.0x, then only the app will use the ISOCELL HP9 200MP sensor. Therefore, that extra 50MP Sony IMX858 (1/2.51") is useless during low light condition. They should have followed BBK's zooming algorithm in lowlight to start using the HP9 sensor from 3.7X onwards. DJ Koh's Note24 totally failed in low light pix... 20X Zoom (Low Light close to pitch dark):
20X Zoom (Day):
Only one YouTuber so far noticed the stock cam app for See-How-Me is rubbish: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Conclusion: The hardware is capable but the stock camera app is the culprit!!! |

Coming from s22 ultra, I really enjoy the camera in the Xiaomi 15 ultra.
But software man I really feel it's not intuitive. I agree honor magic os is much better. But battery life is great. I think screen time is around 6 hour during my working hours. And at 5 still got around 50-60% plus. And I run whqd screen with most feature turn on |

QUOTE(chongkiatz @ Mar 17 2025, 05:21 PM) i think what he mean is , xiaomi might have better camera quality and spec overall if compared to the Honor Magic 7 pro , but for the long run especially if u aim for the stable the OS (xiaomi = HyperOS vs M7Pro = MagicOS) , the MagicOS will be more stable and less bugs compared to the Xiaomi HyperOS I don't think Xiaomi software is bad lar but if you consider the price tag I guess it's not refined? So he rather choose M7PRO for stable OS in run long to sacrifice a little Imagine/Video Quality. But since its your secondary phone and u aim for photography , if i'm you, i will just go for my main AIM which is "photo" & grab the xiaomi 15 ultra For working & Security , just continue with your trusted iphone 16proMAX iOS Hope that helps The call and contacts app is default Google app. And scrolling thru the gallery app also annoying. |

QUOTE(NagaK @ Mar 18 2025, 12:27 AM) Is really that worth? I'm too planning to update from S22U and skip Samsung for while ? How's smooth and network connection The connectivity much better, my s22u macam always have a lot of loss packet despite 5 bar 5g. This phone no issue, areas where I had problems before with data the signal stable and stronger. Even with Samsung was was using nova launcher cause I didn't like the home app from Samsung. So Xiaomi one also not much different. The problem is the apps all macam need an extra step to get what you want. If you are techy savvy it means it will annoy you je, but all the functionality is there. Battery the best lar compare to my s22 which can't last till lunch. This last till after work with at least 50% more and I on and off hotspot to my tablet. NagaK liked this post

QUOTE(Gold_Moderator @ Mar 18 2025, 01:54 PM) Not sure but android always have this problem where if you clear your memory you ultimately screw up basic stuff. Actually there isn't a need to clear memory nowadays but china phone aggressively does it. |
