Still sporting physical SIMs on my Maxis lines. I guess nothing beats the convenience of quick-swapping between phones at anytime without going through the hassle of QR-code, etc. Will wait until the eSIM QR-codes becomes truly seamless.

And in IOS18, you can reformat (& encrypt) the thumb drive with the Files app on the phone. No longer needs the Mac.

For those with lots of data.. can try cable old to new phone approach.

Even for single core performance, A18pro is way faster than m1 , m2 and m3. That is insane..

Perhaps why Apple kept the RAM still at 8GB. The processing power is a lot and should be good enough few years down, RAM should be another reason/bullet for users to upgrade in the next 2-3 years.

for example whatsapp now has move to ios

i manage to get my friend samsung note 10 whatsapp move to iphone 14 pro two years ago, all data moved for whatsapp from android to ios

move to ios only transfer basic stuffs, in order for app like whatsapp to transfer chat data we need whatsapp to support move to ios

is like apple provides sdk for app developer to let user
move to ios and vice versa whatsapp also support move to android

the tool you using is 3rd party that exist long ago i believe

i think sometime ago already for cable migration just that with usb 2.0 not going to beat wireless perhaps

now if you do cable migration for 15p to 16p perhaps you need third party usb c 3.0 cable as the stock cable not high speed

Not sure how long the Apple Store will hold onto your item but 4-5 days shouldn't be a problem. I ordered an iPad which was ready for pickup on the 13th and I went to collect it on the 18th. I'm sure they'll email you if it's uncollected for too long before they send it back.

update: I just checked the "Ready for pickup" email from Apple and there's no mention there of a time limit.

I am currently on CelcomDigi Postpaid 260 (known as ONE Pro) and received the free fiber 300mbps and RM 50 monthly rebates.

Question, if now I PO the iPhone 16 Pro Max with the plan change to CelcomDigi ONE Pro. Will my RM 50 forfeit? Because it involves “change of plan” although it is same plan, but different name.

I think can they just rebranded the name.
