Might I ask, if i don't preorder, is it expected that there will be no walk-in stocks this weekend in Switch?

Current phone is my first Epal, bought like few months after 13 launched after my note 10 kantoi green screen.

Not to say no walk-in stocks, but very limited as priority given to those who preorder. Maybe certain variants or colour that you want do not have stock, so you either wait out a bit or just get whatever unit that is available.

I never bought an iPhone but thinking to buy 2 unit of iPhone 16 Pro for wife and company.

If I want to walk to the TRX and get it on the spot, regardless of the colour (but prefer the smallest capacity), when is the suitable date to go?

I mean, I think the launching should be full with PO, so the end of Sept or early October the best time to walk in to buy.

Ya, and it can be frustrating if you go and cue but the outlet end up still no stock for that particular white colour that you want. If you are in KL/Selangor just PO from Apple and collect at TRX.

Heard from my colleague that pre-ordered with Maxis through Maxis official website. Her order slip states 20th Sept onwards and is subject to stock availability, so she's not entirely sure if she can collect on 20th Sept or not.

Anyone can shed some light on this?

I think people just feel less likely to upgrade. This round is not a big leap for those coming from 15 Pro/Pro Max.

Maxis always write that, subject to stock availability. So you can’t said any if they not able to ship out on time.

If worried, ask your friend call maxis CS and told them you desperately want it and can’t wait longer, I did that for my pixel 9 pro XL. 😅

For me, it is. Haha. A larger screen truly makes a difference in everyday usage. And the camera control may seem gimmicky, but waiting for the two-stage camera shutter feature to give that real camera-esque feel. 

You upgrade every year, so it makes no difference. For me, I'm not ready yet for a larger screen. Gonna see how it differs in real life.

No laaaaaaa. Only upgrade when there is a good improvement. 
The bezels in 16 Pro series are much thinner than 15 Pro series. So I would reckon the 6.9" Pro Max would feel just a tiny bit bigger than the 6.7" 15 Pro Max. Guess we will be able to tell by this Friday.
