There is one shop in Kepong that could do that and it being run by a Chinaman.

The thing is that nobody knows if Samsung is replacing their screen or repairing them like what was shown on those videos.

just go service centre and ask for it. they will get ur phone to test for water damage. as long as no water damage they will replace for u. u pay labour charges.

somehow my s23 ultra screen looks different colour on top and bottom of the screen
but don't have any green/pink line

Normal wear and tear for oled unfortunately for heavy user.

It's usually the blue that degrades faster and hence your screen will either look greenish or pinkish red. Last time Samsung got color adjuster for white balance. Slide the green or red until you reach the color you like.

For future reference:

My S23 got the green line issue out of nowhere. I went to the Samsung Service Center at Sunway Pyramid on Aug 12th at 8pm. They said Samsung was offering a free screen replacement, and I just had to pay the labor cost (RM86.40 after tax). They would have to make a report to Samsung first, which takes about two hours.

I came back the next day (Aug 13th) to make the report. It took two hours. FYI, you have to leave your phone there for the report, but they give it back afterward. Then they ordered the replacement part, which took about a week and a half to arrive (message received on Aug 22nd).

I went back the next day (Aug 23rd at 2pm) and left my phone there. The repair took approx 4 hours and was completed the same day. I picked up the phone at 6pm. Paid RM86.40 total.

TLDR:
13/Aug/2025: Report submission (2 hours).
...
22/Aug/2025: Replacement parts arrived.
23/Aug/2025: Took it in for repair, done the same day. (4 hours)
Total paid: RM86.40

Did they check for any dents when doing report? Yeah just came to the same SC around 8.30pm and counter staff tell me come back earlier tomorrow or another day because need time to make report (for my s22 that developed a line last Thursday night)

Not sure, they didn't say anything about it. They took it to the back, and after that told me to come back after they've received the replacement part.

UR trade in program for S22U still worth RM 1215. So tempted to trade in since this screen replacement only applies to SME sets

Mine and a post above is S23 with this issue. They rejected mine after diagnostic and only after i report to Tribunal they agreed to replace my screen.

Why they rejected yours, which state service center?

Sarawak. As long as they found even your seal is not good anymore or slight lifting at the back they will reject.

Damn. I think I better faster trade in my faulty S22U as long as the screen is still alive for rm1215. Something better than nothing I guess.

last time before I send my S22U for lcd replacement, I already repaired my motherboard twice at bawah pokok shop.. the back panel still have some black glue residue on the side..

but when i send my phone to Samsung Cheras Selatan, they just accept my phone without checking.. just take my phone, lodge report for screen replacement, and after 1 week, can pick up already.. never bother to check my phone..


better faster either trade in or sell your phone.. In reddit got so many user with motherboard problem..

Still can't decide which fon I plan to change to. The longer I wait the lower the trade in value becomes. Dilemma

How about S22 white screen issue? Can get free replacement also?
