Does anyone have instructions or video link to how to dismantle a Puricare for relocating? After making a relocation appointment, I was told to dismantle the unit and move it to new place myself. The free service is only to install at new place.

Planning to get LG WD516 water filter. Does this model have any known issues? How is LG customer & technical service? How easy is the self-service? I was told if the machine has any issue, technician will come onsite to fix any issue instead of bringing back to service center?

Thanks.

Been using for 2 years, so far so good

Customer service can call sales agent or LG directly, can even whatsapp LG

Self-service very easy, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OSM3-6H_78

Depends on the issue, if can be fix onsite, then will fix onsite, otherwise have to bring back to LG

Ya have 2 pipes, 1 inlet 1 outlet, inlet is for water supply, outlet is to drain out water used to flush the machine

If place it far from the sink, can drill few holes on the cabinet compartment wall to run thru the pipes too

No worry, both the inlet and outlet pipes can pass thru that hole and connect directly to the inlet and outlet under ur sink, our installer will know wat to do biggrin.gif

For my use case, bout Rm4/mth, 2 person, averagely uses 85L of water every month (2L hot, 3L cold, 80L ambient)

If u use more hot or cold water, the power usage will be a bit higher

Thanks. I think most of the electric consumption comes from filtering the water?
Example, if I go traveling and it is left turned on, the standby electric is not high?

Mostly standby and auto UV sterilisation (every 1 hour on the water spout) and auto sterilisation of internal pipings (every 1 week)

Personally I switch it off when away for long time biggrin.gif
