QUOTE(ironcrowz @ Nov 28 2024, 11:06 AM) For my use case, bout Rm4/mth, 2 person, averagely uses 85L of water every month (2L hot, 3L cold, 80L ambient) Thanks. I think most of the electric consumption comes from filtering the water? If u use more hot or cold water, the power usage will be a bit higher Example, if I go traveling and it is left turned on, the standby electric is not high? |

My usage of the filter is extremely low since I only used it during the weekends (second home). How much volume should I use before I change the filter?
The standard 6 and 12 months is overkilling in my case. I am using approximately 30L per month at most. |

QUOTE(ironcrowz @ Jun 15 2025, 04:30 PM) Hi bro, bout 1.5L each ya, after that compressor will need to rest bout 20min to prevent overheat How do you track how much the water filter is consuming from the total bill?Power consumption will be lower if u use less hot or cold water, but overall still uses much less power than water purifiers with tank, for my use case, TNB bill bout Rm100/mth, my WD516 uses bout Rm4/mth of electricity only |

Another question. I know we are supposed to change the filter every 6/12 months but sometimes I lose track. Can I rely on the filter light on that? Meaning if there is no indication I assume it is safe to continue using it
