Do u get the exact volume of water as per setting? Eg if u press 1L u get exactly 1L. Mine always less. 1L only get 750mL. My model is WD516AN. My old model get exact amount.

I tested mine ytd night, mine was accurate

Thanks. I noticed only ambient and hot water is not accurate. Cold is ok. For ambient and hot water, some water will come out from the discharge pipe but not for cold water.

What is the difference between WD516AN vs WD518AN?

WD518 has 2 additional functions, but lack the freely 180° moveable water outlet and water tray, everything else exactly the same

1. 10ml volume control - Can set any volume u like every 10ml between 120~1000ml (i.e. 120, 130, 140 etc. all the way to 1000ml)

2. Favourite preset - Can set 3 favourite presets of volume + temperature combo (Preset A = 120ml 40°C for baby formula, Preset B = 270ml 85°C for coffee etc.), 1 button to change both volume and temperature you use most frequently

3. Both has auto up-down water tap (to avoid water spill out, safer hot water use).
But WD518 is square shaped, so once installed, water tap cannot swing horizontally freely (Can still be installed either vertically or horizontally if preferred)

4. WD518 has no water tray - Shorter length by 15cm yet does not affect usage as long as water doesn't overflow

5. Both models same price (whether outright purchase, rent-to-own and the subsequent filter package), unless got promo

The auto up down function, can it be turned off? Worry it might spoil because each time getting water it will move up and down

Dun ever trust any agent. The moment u signed they disappeared.

Mine also same.

I dun expect to get any form of service from them.

When u received the SMS to confirm delivery address and confirm the delivery date. U better call up LG if no one comes to deliver after ur chosen date. Happened to me, so I called LG puricare hotline and only they make the arrangement for delivery to be done. Within 2 days of report, the replacement filter was arrived.

So for those who wants the filter to be delivered, make sure u call the hotline.

I've searched inside the app, but can't find it. WD516

U just trust the wrong agent. However, most of the time customer need to deal with call center as they need to verify real customer.

There's good and bad agents, good thing is u can always call LG, at least it's not some unknown brand that has no physical location in Msia and u have no one to reach for

WD516 the installation need to drill hole on countertop?

If you want a concealed look you may drill hole for the Inlet and outlet drain hole. Otherwise table top with diverter is possible too.

Concealed look is as per below:
the outlet drain can directly connect to your sink outlet.

The required hole size is 17mm diameter for the tube
