No difference, just that they're stating the promo for the retail stores instead us agents

The filtered water is perfectly safe to drink directly, but according to chinese tradition, some still boils it in case their babies couldn't take the "coldness" biggrin.gif

There's no internal UV sterilisation, UV sterilisation is only for the water tap (cuz it's exposed to germs in the air, but cannot be flushed with water otherwise ur kitchen will be all wet biggrin.gif ), internal pipes will be cleaned by flushing with hot water every week instead

Straight into your drainage pipe

Both water in and out is connected directly to the in/outlet under your sink

Hi,
Sharing my usage on LG WD516 for past 2 years++

1. Hot water not working after just 2 months of usages
2. Water leaking from the unit
3. Hot water again not working (3rd time already)
4. LG care service is slow, faster is 2-3days to get them to come.
5. Spare part not available, have to wait. For my case 2 weeks to resolve.

Planning to terminate the rental once reach mandatory 3 years.
The product feature is good, but too many issue and slow service.

Haha was making very loud noise all the way to the top, but they insist to do repair. What to do Malaysia consumer rights is not strong. If not for the contract I would have terminated it on the spot.

2-3 days consider lucky if you can get it, most of the time wait till next week. They do not have enough technician around and their call center look like sub-contract to 3rd party to handle the call. After report, have to wait for techician to call and make appointment which wasted at least 1 day.

Wishing you all the best for your unit. Hopefully you don't experince what i've been through

Maybe I'm heavy usage on the hot water.

How you use your hot water O.o ?

Since hot water has cool down after 1litre dispense

So far i'm also using the same model for 3 weeks now
Wife still insist to boil water so i use ambient water to boil for her and baby usage.

I normally now just directly drink from the machine.

Hahaha my reason to get this unit was to avoid manual boiling water.

Yes have to wait for cool down. We used more on 40C
