They are giving all-in-one Optical Network Router (ONR), means modem and wireless router jogress shinka into one single device. Better for you to use the existing device as standalone option is the best due to the ability to use your own router. I dont think so currently supplied ONR is the best or at best supplied. Heard a few good reviews on the ZTE unit, not sure how it performs in rl.

They just came and installed the gn630v.

So i just do the bridge setup following blacktubi's tutorial , then connect my own router to the ONR using a lan cable, correct?

After that do i need to do any setup setting in my own router?

Sorry i have no knowledge on tinkering with bridge mode.

you can use ONU old no need ONR due speed sometime slow not 100% sometime unstable
you are not 1GBPS then use OLD ONU BTU Modem then connect AX20 settle

I would advise you to do backup before proceed to configure the ONR to operate as bridge mode. Or ask any closest friends of you that has networking (basic / intermediate / advance) to help you mate.

It's TM's Free Speed Upgrade (FSU), started years ago, some even got it before 2023.

Swu 5.0 @500mbps

Rm129 become rm139
I get 6months free
Disney basic for 12months

[attachmentid=11510195]

But the customer support very sneaky
At first she said only 6months free didn’t mention about Disney. Then I ask her only she said included

Need a little help here.

Unifi ONR has VOIP.

Upgraded to Asus AX-6000 router because Unifi ONR cannot handle too much wifi clients.

Changed ONR setting from router to bridge.

But this causes VOIP not working because it is not routing VOIP anymore.

Should i call TM to solve this or i can do it myself in UNIF ONR or AX-6000?

I could just change Unifi ONR back to router and make the AX6000 as AP.

But it seems like wastage of performance from the router.

Guidance needed.

Yes called Unifi to help. Previously I tried to crack my head but the technician that came help me fixed it without wanting any payment. Even the TM guy said better to call them.
