Has anyone else noticed that add-ons for MESH/Smart Home devices are missing from the UniFi app and website, or is it just me?

SNIP
LAN > IPTV > Select ISP Profile > UniFi Home or UniFi Business (either one is fine)

UniFi Home: For users who are still using the old UniFi IPTV box that uses an Ethernet cable.
UniFi Business: Frees up the additional Ethernet port that would otherwise be used by the UniFi IPTV box.

UNIFI SMART DEVICE now has many options, also offering a 24/36 month contract.
Is anyone else unable to see any SMART DEVICES in their UniFi account app or web interface? Even MESH devices are missing.

The only things visible are the UniFi TV box, UniFi TV packages, and streaming apps.

I'm a UniFi Home 1Gbps - Pro Upgrade user, paying RM189. I've always paid on time, so it's really strange that this is happening.

Talking to their live chat is frustrating—they just keep repeating the same stuff and don't understand my issue.

I've never seen before an IP range starting with 1.
My office has been utilizing a fixed IP address that begins with "1" for nearly three years. We currently have five additional fixed IP addresses, all of which also start with "1."

We are subscribed to a 1 Gb/s internet package, having recently upgraded from an 800 Mb/s package.

Ah I see, I'm guessing there is no issues? Also it's a Public IP right?
Since my office is using a business package, we automatically get a permanent public IP address.
I'm not sure about the situation for end users, though.

Just went to TMpoint to terminate my Unifi and they said new Stay with Unifi promo started yesterday.

1Gbps for RM159/mth 6 month free bill.
Hot damn! I'm going to TM Point to try and get this. Hopefully, I can secure that offer.
I'm currently paying RM189 per month for 1Gbps.

Yea lo, me too. Please keep us posted on your outcome ya.
Will do
Including SST, I will be saving around RM31.8

Though not much but a saving is a saving right?

Now paying RM189 + 6% SST = RM200.35
After SWU RM159 + 6% SST = RM168.55

I think w/o ultimate pack,
Maybe only for internet line, worth for who dun wan the unifi ttv
Definitely don't care about the Ultimate pack. My UniFi TV is only being used by my in-laws to watch TV1, TV2 & TV3 but even that's a rare occassion
QUOTE(NagaK @ Jul 2 2024, 07:20 PM)
Does new customers ( just changed ownership from dad as his no more) eligible for SWU? no contract for now
Don't know. You'll have to try it yourself

Unifi down in Subang Jaya?

EDIT:
Yes, it appears there's an ongoing issue with Unifi in Subang Jaya. I just spoke with their live chat support, and they mentioned there will be intermittent disconnections until 6 AM due to scheduled upgrades they're working on.

Has anyone ordered the Smart Device add-on from UniFi?
How long did it take for you to receive the device after placing the order?

July 2024 made report to MCMC they replied say will assign someone but until today no one call and they close the report.
To ensure your issue receives proper attention, please avoid allowing the MCMC ticket to be closed. There should be an appeal option available for you to re-open your case.

Based on my experience, leaving the ticket open will eventually prompt an MCMC personnel to review it directly. Below is an example from my own ticket, where an MCMC representative responded after the ticket remained unresolved for a significant period. At this stage, TM typically prioritizes resolving the issue thoroughly instead of closing the ticket prematurely.

I still haven't decided on which package I'm going to take for SWU  sweat.gif
Raise a ticket with MCMC regarding the free speed upgrade. This will upgrade your current 800Mb/s package to 1Gb/s, which includes an upload speed of 500Mb/s, without requiring a contract renewal. The free upgrade is typically completed within 14 working days.

Once the speed upgrade is completed, you can visit TMPoint again to take advantage of the SWU offer.

You can follow my guide on how to submit a ticket to MCMC regarding the free speed upgrade at the following link:

But after reading through the thread seems like the upgrade makes the internet worse due to the combo router  confused.gif hopefully can avoid such problem
If you're using the combo BTU+router, some users are experiencing issues with it. Fortunately, I still have my original BTU, so I use that and keep the new combo BTU+router as spare.

So they did not take away the modem with them after giving you the combo and it is still working
They allowed me to continue using the existing BTU and advised me to keep the new one as a spare. They also configured the new BTU into bridge mode and tested it before repacking it into the box.
QUOTE(coolguy_0925 @ Aug 5 2024, 05:16 PM)
How about the speed?
The download speed is limited to 920 Mbps, whereas the upload speed consistently reaches the full 500 Mbps.

May no longer be indicative since this was during the start of MCO in 2020. Deco M4 order took 16 days.
Understood. I already received the email and SMS with the tracking number on 31 July but it's still untraceable until today

Guess I just have to wait a little longer

My previous Smart Device was the 60" Sharp TV and it was delivered within 3 working days. They shipped using Line Clear Express
This time I ordered the ROG Ally, and the SMS from TM mentioned that it's shipped using Line Clear Express too

so, back to my question, which one seems more worth?
To be honest, your SWU offering is not really that enticing
Have you tried submitting a termination request to TM? This might get you a better deal with lower monthly charges.

For instance, someone on the forum got a 1Gb/s plan for RM159 with six months free billing.

Alternatively, get a router that support DNS over TLS. This will apply to all devices
This will bypass the sinar project block?
Can we reuse Google/Cloudflare DNS afterwards?

Thanks for your guide, I've lodged the complaint to MCMC just now.
Just wait for the response from both MCMC and TM about this issue.
Please ensure that your ticket remains open until you have received the promised speed upgrade. If they (Telekom Malaysia) attempt to mark your case as resolved prematurely, utilize the appeal function to keep the ticket active.

Keeping the ticket open for an extended period will eventually attract the attention of personnel from the MCMC. At this stage, TM will make every effort to resolve the issue appropriately.

You may refer to the example below, where an MCMC personnel responded directly to my ticket.

Finally received modify order free upgrade to 1Gbps
Once the upgrade is completed, you might consider submitting a request for termination to potentially secure the RM159 SWU price.

However, it's advisable to wait at least one to two months before doing so.

If request to port out will have this offer as well ?
A lot of people seem to have managed that.

I made the mistake of adding a smart device to my account before trying it, so I missed out on the lower price. doh.gif
